  1. I read that they had recently paid out over £200m in bonuses etc? So really they had made £100m in profit? Also the 100m profit they made was from the tax payer after they had received over 200m from the Gov? Typical private company getting the public to bail them out but stealing the cash.
  2. I owned a Tracer 900 GT from new when they first came out back in 2015. Did a week’s trip to Germany on it and it didn’t miss a beat. However, after 2 years of ownership I wanted something with power. I also founds it’s limits quickly with higher speeds. It was unstable. I have owned a Versys 1000GT from new since 2017 and love it. I have no intentions of changing it any time soon. I do have the Tracer seat professionally altered for comfort and I do have a comfort genuine seat on the Versys (found a mint used one in FB market place a couple of years back) I also put Hyperpro front spring in and a HP rear unit in. Which haS made a difference to the V
  3. It depends where your Speedo’s bike is being read from. If it’s the wheel I think it’s not too hard to fix it DIY If it’s a digital speed sensor then it’s engine out (I think) My CBR600F had the same issue back in 2008 and was digital. My local Honda dealer fixed it for about £250 or somewhere around there.
  4. I have the Rukka Forsair gloves. Amazing even with hand guards. I would prefer them as a longer glove, as I feel a bit vulnerable with short gloves, but I suppose it’s a trade off. https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/325118
  5. We all know that. The point is. It happens. If you pay the debt off then there is no issue. It becomes a problem if you don’t pay the debt off. The poor sod that bought the bike/car will end up with it being confiscated, eventually. Again this also happens.
  6. My ex brother in law had a gixer on finance years ago. He wanted to get rid of it but was far from mid term. He sold it privately and rang his finance company for a settlement. Paid it and kept the balance. (Which wasn’t much) It happens, and as long as you pay it off then no one is the wiser. EDIT: He informed the guy that bought it that it was on finance and sorted it all out in front of him.

  11. £6.30 for me in Grimsby. EDIT: After looking at the other menu’s, I’d like to point out that the menu above just says small fish etc because we only eat one type of fish round here. None of that Cod shite
  12. Welcome to the forum. I think you did the right thing. If your head is not in the game then I guarantee you’ll have a bad ride. Don’t be too hard in yourself. The weather will start to get better soon which means the conditions will improve too. Just take it a step at a time. Maybe start small. Set yourself a task of going round the block at first. Then see how you feel. Do you drive? Have you any road experience other than the CBT? It can take years to build the skills, so take your time.
  13. It’s free. I’ve downloaded it. I have Sena RideConnected so will compare when the weather gets better.
  14. You lot are going to get Ostrich-ised if you keep talking bird on a bike forum.
  15. Has anyone watched…Countdown…I think it’s called, on Netflix? The first civilian space flight ever. I thought it was fantastic!
  16. I think all that shit would take the enjoyment out of riding….. You don’t need to have a list of certificates to be a very good rider.
