Agree with Stu. They just pull off. Mine are a bast*rd to get off only because there isn't much space to get your hand in, well, there is plenty of space if you have tiny Japanese mechanic hands!
  4. lol
  5. That was the main reason yes. I remember not having power steering once upon a time. Bloody awful when manoeuvring lol
  6. ......wear this? Good idea or naff? Discuss https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1557161667860782

  8. hmmmm got one in my out box. I'll have a dig around and see why that didn't go.
  9. Check your inbox. Unless it's full, in which case, time for a clean up
  10. Anything with the word motorcycle/bike will increase the price by at least 20% That sounds about right for bike specific sat navs. You have to remember they are waterproof unlike car one's. You can always go the car sat navs and get bike specific mounting brackets and waterproof cover. You'll also need the right wires to hook it up to the bike. Should work out a bit cheaper, but a lot of faffing
  11. Try your local garage. It might cost you a couple of quid, but at least you know you've done the right thing. The only way to find out if what others have said is true is to contact your local water board. I think your suspicions are right though.
  12. You'd have a hissy fit if you ever get your bike strapped down on a ferry then lol
  13. Maybe try and locate it elsewhere on the bike?
  14. What about heated gloves? Very expensive, but could be worth the investment.
  15. It's been a while (8 years) since I've owned and used a scottoiler, but to my recollection you should have an applicator that you attach to the tube at the top of the reservoir and squeeze it in that way. Either that or buy a syringe with a tube off eBay and do it that way. Again if my memory serves me correctly you shouldn't have to disconnect the reservoir as it is under vacuum pressure. I remember having to split my vacuum pipe under the tank to fit a small t-connector. Hope that helps.
  16. As an ex driving instructor, the pull push method is not a requirement of the driving test and hasn't been for over 10 years. You may cross your hands to turn the wheel as long you are always in full control and never let it slip/spin back. You must always have both hands on the wheel when driving in a straight line unless you are changing gear or using any of the controls. Pull push is better for new drivers initially, but once any of my ex pupils got comfortable I would tell them the above and then leave it up to them. Some would adapt to suit themselves and some would continue to pull push.
  17. You are not limited to 7 days only. In 7 days you get a free retest. After that you just pay again. Sorry link won't open properly in tapatalk so can't help you with the nuts
  18. This is a question from a mate. All help advise greatly appreciated. I asked about immobiliser, air filter, carbs & jets. Anything else I might have missed?
  19. Another link I can't see using tapatalk.
  20. I keep having to get rid of the media tags in order to watch the YouTube clips on my iPad through tapatalk. ">
  21. Agreed. CBT is just that. No test or exam. Just training to make sure you have basic skills and are safe to be on the road. Once the cert is obtained you are restricted to any 125cc motorbike or moped.
  22. Looks good.
  23. Weird. I get nothing when I click on it.
