  1. It would be worth dropping the guys at MyRouteApp a line about. Since I’ve been a member they have come on leaps and bounds and have implemented lots of ideas the community have suggested over the years. By the sounds of it, what you are looking for does not exist….yet. I think it’s a great idea and something the guys at MRA could do.
  2. Not sure about buttons but have a look at Myrouteapp. https://www.myrouteapp.com/en/information/navigation It’s the best nav tool I’ve come across. A good few of us here on here use it.
  3. One key. Also unlocks top box, panniers, seat and tank.
  4. I have this for bike https://tinyurl.com/45x6x36y and this one for the car originally, but swapped them round. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00N94L21U?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder-mobile-t1_k0_1_7&amp=&crid=22OWF86LVECGW&amp=&sprefix=aa+tyre Both fit in my 5ltr tank bag. The AA one is a tiny bit bigger and is a bit of a squeeze but it’s more accurate being digital and auto shuts off. That’s why I swapped it to the bike.
  5. Try upping the mileage. 3000 miles a year doesn’t give you much experience every in the grand scheme of things, so this could put you at a higher risk in their eyes. I used to put 6000 miles and then one year I automatically put in my estimated car mileage of 12000 miles and my quote actually went down by £50!
  6. Yes, it’s a basic tool, but it gives a rough idea that only takes a few mins to set up. Better than wasting a few hours sitting on bikes in the showroom. Although if you have the time then nothing better than popping into a dealer and sitting on new bikes
  7. You can always change the Desert X tyres to road tyres if you really like it. Apparently the Ducati Diavel won the best looking bike award this year. Also check this site out for what you might/might not fit on https://cycle-ergo.com
  8. It’s just one licence with different entitlements. You accrued 3 points while on a provisional and then after you passed your A2 you gained another 3 points. This totalled 6 points within two years of passing your test. You now have to apply for a provisional and start again. If you passed the theory less than 2 years ago then the cert is still valid and you will only have to do the mod 1 & 2 again before the two years is up. Obviously if it longer than that or the 2 years run out while in the process of obtaining your full licence again then you will have to take the theory. I also suspect you might have to do the CBT as you need the cert number in order to book the theory. You best bet is to speak to a riding school. They will know better than anyone on here.
  9. @bonio I hear the soup is nice
  10. I’ve just done a Google search and found this website. https://www.motorcycleproducts.co.uk/honda-cb400-nc-super-dream-1983-parts/2/8963?page=4 It I only looked through the first few pages to find tyres, but it looks like they have tonnes of bits. These tyres are the first ones I came across. There could be more/others in there with a proper look
  11. It’s to do with Euro Emissions targets also.
  12. I have the Loop mute insert also @bonio gives you an extra 5db noise reduction. Have you played about with the different sizes? With the mute inserts in and a good seal mine are quiet. I have some custom fit earplugs at work and tried them under my lid once upon a time. Ears were hurting after 20 mins.
  13. @Ronnie Some good tips there. I have the TomTom Rider so don’t have that issue. @Stu When I bought my bike it came with a handlebar Sat Nav mount. When in the higher rev range my TomTom used to switch off!! After a bit of research I discovered that Kawasaki had only changed from an above the clock mount from that year. Obviously to save money. I bought the higher mount for not only the reason mentioned above, but the fact that I found it dangerous when I needed to look down to view the sat nav. Has anyone tried the free version yet?
  14. I’ve been singing this navigation tool’s praises for a long time now. I was lucky enough to have found them when they first started up and I paid about £50 for lifetime GOLD membership as an early adopter. They have not sat still since and have gone from strength to strength. Now it’s not just a web based app. They now have a fully working mobile app only recently finished. I received one of my regular emails from them the other day. I am in no way affiliated with them and don’t gain anything from this post. I just think it’s the best navigation tool out there. Check it out. There is a free version if you don’t want to subscribe that looks pretty good. https://mranavigationnext.app/freeuse/
  15. An interesting weekend to say the least. Well done Bradley Ray. He needs a full time ride.
  16. You state they are too big. In what way? Are you struggling to change gear in them? If you’re struggling to change gear. Do you know you can adjust the gear lever?
  17. They wooden’t even answer the phone!
  18. I can’t book a test ride.
  19. I think you can use a free toned down version. I was an early adopter years back and I got full gold membership for life for about £60. I got lucky really. Not sure what the subscription is now but I think they do tiers. It’s not just the app though. They do blogs and there are tonnes of instructions. They do webinars. They have real people supplying routes. You can share routes with friends and make routes public. Which means if you’re going somewhere you can look in that area and see if someone has already put up a great route and just use that. You can also tweak that route for yourself. It saves loads of time There’s all sorts on there.
