Personally I think you’re going to be hard pushed to beat anything that MyRoute-app hasn’t done/thought of already. This is best route planning app I’ve used, ever.

Changed the air filter. Surprisingly very clean for two years being in. Although I haven’t put that many miles on it. Put a K&N in and it’s the oiled type, so will have to order some oil. Just waiting for the crush washer I ordered yesterday. As soon as that’s here it’ll be an oil a filter change. Checked the brake fluid as it’s been in there 2 years, but it looked really clean, so will leave it until winter.

Tough one as I like both and take both to work in my pack up. Cashews, Roasted peanuts & Pistachio’s are my go to. I voted crisps in the end as there is probably more choice.

What summer jacket
fullscreenaging replied to daveinlim's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
Not sure what you mean by AA but the elbow and shoulder armour that come with the jacket is D3O XTR and rated CE level 2. It has a pocket for the D30 XTR back protector which is optional and I have. As far as I’m aware. You can’t beat CE level 2 for the road. -
You’re gonna feel cramped on any sports bike. You can get rear sets that are adjustable to get the pegs a bit lower and further forward, but then you run the risk of ground the pegs. I couldn’t say about any naked bike as they’ve never been on my radar.

Your looks like it’s not road legal. Top one with no baffle says not approved. Bottom one has a baffle and approved E pass

What is it about the Versys 1K you don’t like? I’ve owned a 2017 from new and it’s the best bike I’ve owned. Before that I owned an MT09 Tracer and before that a CBR600RR to name a couple. I had the 600RR for a year and the Tracer for two and each time I just got the itch to change them as the cons just outweighed the the pros after a whole of ownership. With the VK1 I have not even contemplated another bike in the 6 years I had it. You could look at the Kawasaki 1000SX also.

Neotec 2 helmet
fullscreenaging replied to S-Westerly's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
I had the Neotec and when looking for a new lid a couple of years ago went to SBS with the plan of going for the Neotec 2. I just didn’t like it. It’s heavier than the Noetec, it feels cheaply made compared to the its predecessor. I was disappointed. I went for the AGV sport modular. AGV have a tour modular out now so hopefully it will be the next lid when this one is ready to be changed. -
Comprehensive insurance cover wind damage with rock
fullscreenaging replied to Raymond85's topic in Motorbike Chat
It would but you need to weigh up whether it’s worth claiming. You will have an excess to cover and then the claim will affect your premiums for the next 5 years. If the down pipe costs way over the calculated price above then go through your insurance. I would look on eBay for a replacement. -
I don’t think he will beat that, unless he breaks every speed limit in every country! Or takes 3 less pee’s…

You now own the wrong bike @bonio https://www.visordown.com/news/general/new-record-most-countries-visited-24-hours-riding-motorcycle

I’ll second the Innovv. I have an Innovv 3. The video quality is not quite as good as the Go Pro’s but I only use it for myself and mostly only if anything untoward happens.

What summer jacket
fullscreenaging replied to daveinlim's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
I have a Rukka Forsair Pro mesh Jacket and the Gortex over jacket. Over jacket goes in the top box just in case of rain. I’m 100% protected if it does rain. -

Mature novice - where do I start with bike choice
fullscreenaging replied to Interference Fit's topic in Newbies
My advice with bike PPE is go for middle price range if you are just starting out. In my opinion, if you go cheap you’ll end up paying twice. You do get what you pay for. Sportsbikeshop is a great place to buy your kit if you have a store near you. If not, their delivery and returns policy is fantastic. Infinity Motorcycles is a close second. For a helmet, you need to determine not only the size of your head, but the shape. Certain helmet brands will suit your head shape which is good to know as depending on the info above it will narrow down your search criteria. Good luck with the DAS -
You like dick on your chest??

The NC has a reputation for being a bit bland, but it will be bulletproof as it’s a Honda. I would opt for the NC over the Forza if I was mostly commuting due to the fact that the Forza has tiny wheels and you’ll go through tyres like no one’s business. Probably two revolutions of the Forza wheels to one of the NC. Good luck with DAS

That’s how I read it also. As has also been said. The left lane was once controlled by a traffic light and the solid line has not been covered over.

Just type your model and year into EBay and the service part you need such as 2017 Versys 1000 oil & filter and you will see all suggestions that fit your bike. M&P on eBay are spot on.

I would contact the guy you bought from and request he sorts it out. You must have some sort of warranty, 30 days?
