Cool! Do you think the course would benefit someone who can both knees down easily on a racetrack? Ie someone with ample confidence already.
If you are getting both knees down maybe time to consider a slightly larger bike !

Rugby Friday, Pub Saturday, Wanking and eating cheesy wotsits Sunday.
Oh no wait, I'm going for a roast at my mums Sunday so I'll probably go out on the bike - usually cures my hangover.
If your having dinner with your Mum on Sunday best omit the Wotsit`s then.

Hi @Mawsley I am 2 years in on the HJC RPHA Carbon which has built in Sena capability with none of the problems you mention including all day use on a charge for the intercom.
I accept it1s not a flip front but I would guess their range may have something in it that would suit you.
Give me a shout if you want to have a good close look at it.

Pop quiz
So your getting ready for a wedding and you want to annoy the wife, do you....
A- Get ready before here and ask what's keeping her.
B- Get ready before her and stuff your face.
C- Decide it's lovely and sunny and now would be the perfect time to climb up on the garage roof with silicone and fibre paint and seal the lap joint with what apparently is repair paint so good it won't come off with solvent
I would actually go with A and while you are waiting for an answer proceed directly to C thus ensuring maximum effect.

Couple of years+, eh.
Not doing an awful lot of riding tbh. After doing the NC500 by Vespa, the Himalayan didn’t enthral me and the Interceptor was sunny days only. Reckon I’ve done double the miles on the AT in a week that I had on the Enfields this year. And given how horrible the weather was this morning, it speaks volumes about how much I love the Honda that I went out on it.
How’ve you been?
Good to see you about again.
Hope you are having fun.

Shame the tyres are both flat and that annoying disc lock put on by persons unknown make his rescue before the deadline difficult.

If you are buying that I must remember to buy some more shares in Brasso.
Bought it and it`s at home awaiting new exhaust pipes and air filter.
I am under strict instruction to only do things to this one which can be reversed back to standard if needed.

Well because @fastbob has posted how much he is enjoying my old Dyna I know there is no chance of buying her back again.
As a result when I got rid of the Fatboy I have found this.
Believe it or not 2008 one owner and only 1557 miles since birth.
Checked all previous MOT`s and mileage is genuine so I have swooped !

Thanks Ian, I know nothing about these, but very interesting, could you tell me is it easy to untether yourself from bike when you want to dismount? I assume you wear this particular make over the top of your leather jacket? Thanks for your time
I believe the clip for attachment is similar to the kind of thing used for a dog lead or keys etc so should be simple to operate and has already been said it`s just a matter of getting the memory to connect to become automatic rather like the wearing of seatbelts.

Hi guys, Helite hi vis sounds good, can someone explain to this dummies what tethered means?
Tethered as in a fixed lanyard attached to the bike so in the event of an off the jacket is triggered.
Think of the hi-viz string showing someone when their disc lock is fitted sort of thing.

I wonder if you could email him and say something along the lines of : I understand someone has gone to the trouble of recoding the ignition etc which was giving me trouble if I had decided to try to get the thing running, having spent so much time and effort on this would you consider selling me this non-runner so I can finally get this sorted as a non running bike bugs me.
You never know he might decide you know enough to succeed and he wont lol.

He must owe you a fair bit in storage and restoration costs !
Surely not worth his while collecting it as I am sure your invoice will outweigh his perception of the value of the bike.
I am gutted for you as well.

I love this thread it just keeps giving with highs and lows so your perseverance is to be applauded.
Keep it up and when you get it finally sorted get out and about next year and take lots of pics.
Alternatively track day it and thrash the doodads out of it.

When (if) it goes to court he'll turn out to be a promising footballer or is going into the army so can't have his life ruined by a prison sentence
You are probably close but I favour the footballer option as the drug use could be seen as lifestyle rehearsals !

I defo need to investigate the various options as the multibike policy I have has started to creep up in price over the last few years.

Hi @Joe85 I totally agree with @Bender but would ask another question which I will understand if you would rather not answer.
Have you been able to recover the bike to a safe place where you can work on it? As I reckon a good auto electrician and a secondhand lock set could solve a lot of your issues.
Please don`t give up as I am sure it will be worth it in the end.

I am with you guys I am running a tyre that I plugged on the ZRX 3k miles ago and it`s been fine.
All I do is check the pressure EVERY time I go to ride it and also most times I walk past it lol.
First sign of a change in pressure I will seek a professional repair or replace depending on mileage.

I concur ! Also you can use the time to repeatedly introduce a little plus gas evry time you put it away between rides.
A little and often is a good way to go before the day of the wrench arrives.
By the way a little heat and patient tapping will work wonders as previously noted.
