  1. Also difficult from the middle of an ocean. Most of us have a rough idea of what you do lol. Before anyone asks I also couldn`t sell central heating to eskimo`s so I ply my trade in construction. Cheers Ian
  2. Pointed question! What was the last thing you changed/ adjusted ? Chain alignment or spacers on the spindle are favourites for this kind of thing. Cheers Ian
  3. PMSL when he or she reveals themselves you are going to probably be surprised ! Cheers Ian
  4. That would be telling lol. It wasn`t my intention to name him or her ! they know who they are and if they wish to break cover so to speak it`s their call. Although the sheepskin coat is a giveaway Cheers Ian
  5. I think some of the cars sold by a certain car dealer on here may have suffered a similar "accident"
  6. It`s a brave bid but I would be cautious of splitting the vote like that, this place seems to house equal quantities of illiterate twats and educated peeps slumming it. Cheers Ian
  7. I know staggeringly small amounts about how pooters and software work I am unashamed to admit. Cheers Ian
  8. Rats that`s no fun lol. @Stu I hope you have it saved for future use? Cheers Ian
  9. @Stu Now its pinned does that prevent @XTreme from editing his error ? I sincerely hope so PMSL. Cheers Ian
  10. Excuse me but dont you feel an edit coming on @XTreme?? You appear to have mixed up the MOTY and TOTY in your first post and awarded @Six30 the MOTY lol. Or are you making a stealth bid for your own TOTY challenge. Cheers Ian
  11. Funnily enough I am the reverse. I once saw a GPZ550 lump in a Yamaha XT500 frame and the guy that had built it had done a great job of it. I thought it looked an absolute hoot to ride. He had also given it the benefit of road racing wet tyres. Obviously not road legal but hey who gives a ****. Cheers Ian
  12. I tend to blame the moisture content of some of the sh*t they print for the slump in fire lighting properties. Cheers Ian
  13. Ride magazine have a comparison test using the new XCP clear variant that apparently does as well as before but looks less unsightly whilst on the bike. I have already treated the bike under the cover outside with ACF so fingers crossed for now but I might be investing in some XCP very soon. Seemed a very fair test as well. Cheers Ian
  14. Think I still have the timing ticket for that run ! R.A.F Honnington 195.6 M.P.H
  15. Very happy with the seat and would recommend on the limited use we have had so far. Haven`t used it as much as we wanted yet as the Harley and the weather slowed down the Busa use. Looking forward to some longer trips in the spring. Cheers Ian
  16. Do the pics I uploaded previously count in this ? Cheers Ian
  17. Is that why you built the trailer ? Cheers Ian
  18. I would respectfully point you to my earlier comment lol. They gotta copy from something ? Cheers Ian
  19. Probably what we used to call "Shellgrip" fine and grippy and usually only seen in towns on the approach to zebra crossings and some junctions. When I despatched in London in the 80`s you got to look for it in the wet dark evenings and breathe a sigh of relief if you saw it lol. I don`t know if the name is correct but speak to anyone who survived those days and I am sure they would recognise the term. Cheers Ian
  20. I believe you will find a thing called a "Shock sock". Try the link for the sportsbike shop or someone like M&P. The paddock stand thing is practise but you can make yourself a block to go under the side stand to reduce the lean. Be careful not to go too far though. Cheers Ian
  21. @Richzx6r-Baby sitter, was going to suggest sleeping pills but no need. @Tiggie- A new crocodile onesie. @dynax- probably something in a plain brown wrapper. @Six30- A better manager for his mod gig campaign. @XTreme- A more grateful client. Cheers Ian
  22. Hope you had an enjoyable ride home and welcome back. Was the Yorks border being zealously patrolled ? Cheers Ian
  23. That might be his reality ! Cheers Ian
  24. Quote "Hare down South" Where is @Six30 when we need him lol. (prepare for wholesale tone lowering) Cheers Ian
  25. I am always interested that so many people when asked say they hate xmas pud, myself included. It makes me wonder how they sell any or who indeed consumes them. I don`t even like the smell and think it`s a crimminal waste of brandy to create a fire risk. Cheers Ian
