  2. Dunno about that @Richzx6rPosted a pretty impressive messy garage pic a while back lol. Cheers Ian
  3. Not so ! You and @Bender are just a gift to pisstakers ! Cheers Ian
  4. Not wishing to be pedantic but that is £140 odd for a new camchain. Is that an endless camchain entailing engine out or are they using a soft link and feeding the new one through and just refreshing the top end? I see no evidence of cylinder head and base gaskets, oil and other items associated with an engine strip. I would be interested in someone like @fastbob`s thinking on this. Cheers Ian
  5. Welcome home ! Sorry the place is a bit of a madhouse at the moment but the Bozo`s in charge have made a proper clusterfook of everything. Oh sorry I didn`t mean @Stu on here but the country as a who;e lol. Cheers Ian
  6. Dentists genuinely terrify me so I wish you all the best. Cheers Ian
  7. Good Luck ! Cheers Ian
  8. Don't get me started on Hermes !!!!!!!!! The worst of the worst and in such a state of self denial over the state of their company it beggars belief. Cheers Ian
  9. How was the run to the Cotswolds yesterday? Looked a nice afternoon once the sun got going. Cheers Ian
  10. Yes and still writing occasionally to this day. I think he is still based in Wales and still riding. Cheers Ian
  11. I suppose they could be described as an endure boot but I think they were aimed at touring with some off road capability. I got them because they were the most comfortable of the ones I tried and they felt ok walking in. Cheers Ian
  12. Take drugs and have fun ! There you go no need to ponder. Cheers Ian
  13. Absolutely loved this back in the day ! Remember waiting for the next instalment. Imho this was the era when Mark Williams was at his best. Does anyone remember who it was did the article about canyon racing in L.A mainly on RD400`s? Cheers Ian
  14. Real world pictue of said boots.
  15. Hi @Fish I have been using these for a while including in some torrential rain for over 2 hours and can`t really fault them. Not sure ablout going under trousers but I think the price point isn`t too bad. Forma Adventure Boots - Black - FREE UK DELIVERY (sportsbikeshop.co.uk) Also not bad for waliking about in which I have had issues with bike boots in the past. Cheers Ian
  16. I am in the same boat with Persig but I am afraid the first time I picked it up was in 1979 then tried several times in the 80`s. Gave up then tried again a couple of years ago..................Still failed lol. Would love to read that mag one day. I spoiled myself and bought the book listing every gig/support act/ set list the other month and haven`t even started it except to check a few hazy memories from the "Farewell to Kings " tour back in the day. Cheers Ian
  17. Shameless !!!!! That`s what you are. You take thousands of pounds from us and still try to peddle your used tat to those hard of thinking out here in peasant land. Now go and polish your Maserati and leave us peasants to our money saving ideas ! Cheers Ian
  18. Your logic seems sound to me. I find it a little suprising that noone has badged it differently and sold it as a flushing fluid at greater expense lol. Cheers Ian
  19. What are the other cylinders like ? Cheers Ian
  20. Hi @husoi This sounds a great idea in principle to keep air from entering the system. Did you get it from someone with experience in dealing with hydraulic systems? I can see the logic but believe it is questionable to introduce a fluid not specified for the braking system. I am open minded as I said before the principle sounds sensible. Cheers Ian
  21. As I presume you have 2 rings plus an oil scraper ring I would be suprised if that was enough for compression issue but I await the investigation of the others with interest. Also I would be keen to hear opinions from people like @fastbob who seem to know their stuff. Cheers Ian
  22. No harm meant or done Tiggie. Cheers Ian
  23. Weather is predicted dry and about 12 to 13 degrees for us tomorrow so I may get out for a savage rip through the countryside (That's a bimble to anyone other than @XTreme lol). Cheers Ian
  24. May I respectfully suggest you don't approach @dynax if you are looking for imagery for the app. Just a thought ! Cheers Ian
  25. Unfortunately it`s "Was" more than an amazing drummer. I am very fortunate enough to say I saw him 3 times over the years. Sadly missed along with so many other good ones in the last few years. Cheers Ian
