2. On the water subject...
3. I can give you all the training you will need for £1k Including a new set of very useful tools for an extra £300
4. This is similar to a "business" where you pay £3.5k to become a driver instructor. Then you lease a car from the same company and it's up to you to get the learning drivers. You know the saying. "if sound too god..."
5. That is not good advice at all . really?? I don't mean going mental and do top speed for 1/2hr At low speed you will know if the wheel is balanced or not. I had a car with brand new tyres fitted, saw the guy balancing the wheels and after 200 yrd I found out that the balancing was all wrong. Did I did 100mph to find out? No, 30mph was enough to know.
6. The best is to give it a try, You will know if does need balancing or not.
7. Unless you had them fitted for free I would think the price includes new valve and balancing. Last time I had a tyre fitted the £10 was for everything. Unless they balanced it and it doesn't need any weights...
8. You're not going for a full emergency stop without testing your brakes are you??
9. Same here as everyone's else. Usually a solo rider but having a group is always a nice way to go places. Tend to do longer runs (+250 miles) by leaving early in the morning and arrive fairly late (8pm or after sunset). Been pretty much everywhere in Scotland so any run will be a revisit As profile says, live in Fife.
10. You need to keep in mind that some bike model don't like some brands. My ST1300 hates anything that isn't EBC or OEM HH pads. Then you have to consider that some people like "agressive" pads while others like a more softer approach. You also have those who believe that pads that don't last for 50k miles are rubbish while some don't mind changing pads every 10k miles. I would take reviews with a good handful of salt and make your own mind. Personally I never heard of Goldfren but if you think they will perform the way you want just give it a shot. Worse can happen is for you to change them sooner than you would like.
11. dynax hit the nail on the head ceramic pads are only used in racing for that reason.
12. If you can dismantle (carefully) the locks you can change the layout to be identical. This doesn't work on all locks because some are sealed. This is the barrel from givi lock, you can rearrange the little bars that make the mechanism to suit the key. You will need to dismantle one that you want the key to work in so it is the same key for all locks
13. Check if the lock have a code, if so you can use it to get the other lock.
14. Make sure you put the helmet on its bag (usually supplied with the helmet) before you put it in the rucksack. That will prevent accidental scratches to the helmet or the visor. I would go for a waterproof one just to be on the safe side. Have a look at sportbikeshop via the link in the forum so it helps Stu and the forum https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/466630/#/27907,3203,1186
15. Recently this was made illegal in Portugal. Regardless, the police still uses these methods to catch speeding drivers. Note that the pics are just a few examples of what is common practice by the Portuguese police.

Oil drain bolt

At the end of the day the extra threads will be doing nothing inside the engine dipping in oil The magnet is handy to capture any metal bits faffing around the oil

Oil drain bolt

Is it me or the thread doesn't look the same? I would worry too much about the bolt being shorter, it looks it has a magnet on the top. As long it fits properly I don't see why would be a problem. Just make sure the seat for the bolt is large enough because the bolt is wider.
18. Since the lockdown that I struggle with no commuting time. Normally I would have 50 min travelling time that will allow me to get in the "work zone" which was perfect. Nowadays without this I can't concentrate
19. Sounds like an ECU problem.
20. DAMN DAMN DAMN!!! I shouldn't have clicked in the link... https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/497156
21. I know.. You pay for my flights (for sure mrs will want to go too ) and I'll get it for you I'll take care of meals and stuff
22. I haven't bought it......it's too far away from me! If that was in Granada, Almeria, or Murcia provinces I'd be taking a close at it. I'm sure you could get it delivered. Then go to the north to get the gel pads in the seats
