1. While mechanically you're corect Stu The other issue is the ingress of water and dust/grit. Being open won't seal the bearing
2. If the original is ball bearing and you're upgrading to flat ones you have to make sure the dimensions match.
3. Definitely doesn't look right Have you checked the workshop manual?
4. start by having a look at sportbikeshop (follow link in forum) to see what is around.

Porto Portugal

Really depends on where you're staying. http://uk.visitportoandnorth.travel/ https://www.visitportugal.com/en/destinos/porto-e-norte/73735 https://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/destinations/europe/portugal/porto/articles/porto-travel-guide/ https://visitporto.travel/en-GB/plan-your-trip

Insurance

Any comparison sites like moneysupermarket then go directly to the provider to see if you can get a cheaper deal. It depends on so many factors that telling you that a certain broker is better doesn't work.
7. If you're changing them maybe you want to consider the TPMS inner valves as add-on
8. Depending on the weather and if I can get the VT all together I'll either be going for a ride or finish off my trailer Can always take the ST1300 if the VT isn't ready
9. All gear levers are on the left innit? Brake on the right
10. 250 quid just for that??? I'm on the wrong profession...
11. Just put some mint in the boots and leave it there. Other things that you can use: Lemon peel or slices (known to kill germs) cinnamon stick (removes odour and keeps spiders away) used tea bag (herb ones) drops of tree tea oil (strong anti-bacterial)

what is this?

The most complicated brake system I know is the Honda's CBS. To help out with the bleeding I've made this wee tool. The end with the small ball bearing goes to the caliper
13. Portugal was the first EU country to make mandatory that all crash barriers are fitted with lower flat band closing the gap between the top barrier and the ground to prevent bikers being amputated if hitting the vertical pilar. For a few years there was a campaign promoted by several biker clubs to fit tyres around the metal columns in the crash barriers for that effect.
14. Inverness council (the only one as far as I know) have something similar in the city carpark. A dedicated parking spaces for motorbikes and cycles with some lockers, unfortunately cyclists take over the lockers and the few times I went there they were all in use or broken. But still a good initiative.
15. Proud to be Portuguese https://www.motogp.com/en/video_update/2020/08/28/how-was-the-final-sprint-in-styria-seen-across-the-world/341793
16. You know that a picture speaks 1000 words? have you tried starting the bike on centre stand and action the clutch? sounds like the springs have failed, if that's the case a new plate is in order.
17. You have to go back. your registration is missing Isn't that blue sky sooooooo boring?
18. You're missing the fun of spraying...

what is this?

Leave it for now. If you at some point have to remove the wheel then you can clean it. For that you should use a small brass brush. Clean the sensor too then. I wouldn't dismantle it just to clean the ABS ring and trying to clean it in place won't make a difference.

what is this?

Exactly what Marino says, the ABS ring. The sensor will be hidden away behind the shaft drive near that alum bit showing behind black bit.
22. BAD BITS ON A VFR????? Are you nuts? that is the perfect bike there is absolutely nothing wrong with it Now i miss the ones I had I'm with Marino leave it as it is.

Hi everyone

Welcome to the forum Does it makes you twice better rider?
24. What makes things even worse is that on those small things I spent less than £50. These people with a brain of a jellyfish shouldn't be allowed caring for a bike
