No plans as yet, depending on the weather I might venture out for a little ride, but not sure where to yet.

My prefered choice of chippy has the fish (cod) at £7.60 with chips being £2.70 (I think). The 'small' fish is still too big for me as I'm not the biggest of eaters anyway. I have the joys of travelling the country for work and found Peterborough the cheapest to date, but I guess I'll have to take a trip up to Grimsby to sample the local grub.

If you don't mind, where did you do this? I need a birthday present worth looking forward to later in the year.

Decided it was time for an oil change, clean and oil of the chain and fit the Akrapovic. Called the insurance and they didn't need to be informed by all accounts. Then off to J&S to replace the failed Oxford Stormex cover, lets see how long this one lasts

Viro disc lock (avoid!!)
Fish replied to Tiggie's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
But the sick people who tend to take our bikes don't attempt to pick the lock, they just go straight to the hand held grinder. -
So buying a cover to keep the bike dry and covered I thought I'd go for a well known brand that seem's to be the 'go to' brand. Purchased in August 21, and for the best part it's done its job. Sadly the outter tapes covering the seams is failing, sent an email to Oxford customer services and they just said to go back to the place of purchase and let them deal with it. So my plan will be to get the shop to replace it, and look for another brand. My old BikeIt cover from my old 125 days seems to be the best I've seen so far.

Where in the country are you. Perhaps a few of us might meet up with you and see what we can do to help build that confidence

Started at Maidstone meeting up with a mate, then off to Whitstable, Herne Bay, Canterbury, Dover and down the Dungeness to the Pilot for dinner. Circa 180 miles on a fecking windy (blown sideways many a time) day. Then to finish it off, 3 corners from home a w@nker jumps a roundabout and almost takes me out! Then starts flashing and tail gating me.... so I poodle around the houses to the police station where he does a sharp left and leaves me alone! Cock

Something I've been thinking about for a while, think of it as a way of giving back. Does anyone have any experience of being a blood biker? What's expected, typicla hours and anything else worth knowning? https://www.bloodbikes.org.uk/

The interest will come more if than when a cyclist hits a pedestrian! There have been various cases over the years when this has happened, and other than the very odd occasion the cyclist cannot be traced.

Sounds like you need to speak with some of the many specialist insurance companies rather than asking on a forum.

At least when the box falls off we'll hear you coming

Used to work shifts just around the orner from Smithfields. My nightly lunch was mostly a walk around to see what was going on

The bigger question is where on the scale does those to$$ers on electric scooters fit in! Pedestrian or cyclist?

Cold and the amount of salt on the roads.

So when I picked my bike up during the summer it had a white wax/grease on it. It lasted much better than the Silkoene and Motul's I've been using. I applied the Silkolene two weeks ago, riden twice and it was showing signs of lite surface rust which came off with a clean and no brushing. So what grease are people using and how can I get this white grease look/application again?
