1. Never go too fast (above 20-25mph whilst starting out) and always make sure you can make a gap in the traffic that you'll fit into without causing the on-coming traffic any issues. Above 20-25mph and if you pass a traffic officer you might have a 'friendly' ear pulling.
2. I used the Theory 4 in 1 app, costs a few quid but a lot of the questions and videos are there.
3. gave the bike a clean, and had the joys of taking the front cog cover off. It's been a few chain cleans since I did it last and I was shocked how much buildup of thick grease like crud!
4. yeah screw that... call someone in
5. Out for a ride around Kent with an old Ski bud on his GSX1400
6. Treated myeslf for a trip in September, Litelok Core Moto and a Garmin Zumo XT
7. was it a press fit sort of tyre?
8. I've got the Freecom 4X and I quite like it. The latest with the mesh comms is the Slim/Bold/Edge (better last) but they use an older bluetooth version. The JBL speakers are fairly decent even with ear plugs in.
9. Washed the jacket as the weather looks OK and I've not done a goretex before. Had to read something which caused a great deal of pain...
10. Was that saving with Infinity or somewhere else?
11. Been having a look at pricing for local Kentish honey and it's around £6+ for a 340g (worst I've found is £6.75 for 227g) plus shipping, so I'd take a couple from you if you do decide to do it for us greedy gits.

Putting a guide budget will help with suggestions, but I use the below. Alpinestars Ketchum Gore-tex is my daily jacket which has kept me dry a few times. Alpinestars Drystar Pants Alpinestars Hurricane Rain Jacket Oxford Rainseal banana suit It works but you'll look a bit stupid Gloves as said, in my short biking time I've yet to find a dry pair. Carry a spare set and some rubber gloves.
13. Do you sell/ship? If you do I'll take a few jars off you.
14. It's a 125, limited for CBT level riding. You want quicker, get a license and bigger bike
15. or support the forum a little by using SBS https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_cat/779/#/27907,3203,1186
16. Best bet would be to ask where you bought it from or a local Honda dealer.
17. Big long loop today, started at the 1066 cafe for a bit of brunch, then down to Hastings and on to Newhaven harbour for a spot of lunch. Once that was polished off it was down to Brighton, Worthing and Littlehampton before returning home. Nice way to empty the tank and put some fresh super in.
18. The surface of test centre's is bloody expensive higher grip quicker draining tarmac. As said 125's have enough power to hit the 50kph, it's down to the rider confidence in feeding the power whilst coming round the bend. Remember if the examiner asks if you was happy with that, request another attempt becuase that's exactly what they are offering as you didn't get the speed required.
19. bad becuase I cant claim for the travel hours!
20. Just over 12 hours of driving for 3.5 hours of work!!!!
21. The cover I had on my 125 was a BikeIt and is still going strong. Once I replaced the 125 with the tracer I got an Oxford Stormex which has been rpelaced after 7 months due to falling apart. This second one is holding up a little better at the moment. Would I buy another though..... not a hope in hell
22. Another weekend of working for me... this time up in Manchester. More hours travelling to do the work, than the work itself
23. I'm tempted by the Alpinestars Bionic's for when it gets warmer this summer. Plenty of protection if not more than a normal jacket. I do have bike jeans and 'city' boots.
