even though they are grippy from new, dont be fooled into not getting rid of that top layer

took it for a ride around different car stealers instead of sitting in traffic in the current car

Some insurnace companies class being secured in a standard garden shed with chain/ground anchor the same as in a garage. When you start looking at insurance mention this.

Have a look on TwoTyres.... they are by the Blackwall tunnel and have a vast choice and give decent advice based off a couple of questions.

London is the main reason for the high prices. Would it be garaged is my question, if yes then you'll save a small fortune over street parked.

Whilst the sun was out.... ok it was dry at least I got out for a couple of hours to tour the dealers looking at possible change options. First time of putting the winter gloves on and my god they feel strange, bulky and will take a few more trips out to get 'used to' again

It took me for my covid jab at lunch and tonight it will be taking me thru the traffic caused by the delusional oil protestors holding the QE Bridge to ransom!

MT07 or for a little more upright the Tracer 7/700

Sorry, but not sorry.... they deserve to just have the parts glued to whatever just ripped off. Stupid should be painful!

They are £179.99 but you do get a free pair of summer leather shorty gloves free. If you're a Bennetts customer you get 10% off or just sign up to the news letter. I got this in the wrong section of the forum and should really be under the reviews section

So I wanted a 'better' pair of jeans for the little trip to Spain I just took. I've been wearning RedRoute jeans, which being on the baggier side are more cut how I like my jeans. I took a trip down to Roadskin and tried on the Taranis AAA rated and the Paranoid's which are also AAA rated, but they are more of a winter jean. The Paranoids are on the looser side of cut's, but much heavier due to the seperate full length internal kevlar lining. The Taranis are what I'd class as skinny fit, they are woven kevlar and have an internal mesh liner. They are also a stretch material, so once you get comfortable on the bike, there's no digging into your body. The knee has double pockets to adjust the height, which I initially had in the top pocket, but soon moved to the lower as I found it didn't really cover the knee. The hip sits in just the right place, and wearing the jeans all day never became annoying for digging into me at any point. They offer two types of protection padding. One is like a D30 yellow (but not D30) and he other being a black ghost type armor. I fitted the black from the get go and not looked back, I'm sure I'll give the yellow a go at some point but not in any rush. Would I recommend them, yes. After covering just shy of 2000 miles on a 12 day trip with them being worn for everything other than the main motorway to/from they was my main pair for daily enjoyment. The only thing I would say is they are ever so slightly on the long side.

First-time insurance claim? (Bennetts Insurance/4th D)
Fish replied to PeteSouthgate's topic in Motorbike Chat
If you can, speak with their insurance company directly. Cut out the middle man so to speak. They might send an assessor out to inspect the damage, but unlikely. They then authorise the repairs and jobs done. -
I would second the DAS comment. Having completed and got yourself a full license you'll have a much better selection of bikes. This doesn't mean that you have to go and get something big, but the option is there.

Im currently in Spain and every biker, regardless of make/model sticks their hands our to acknowledge other riders. Mopeds however get ignored. It's one of those things you'll learn to live with

I'd nominate the nob I'm currently riding around Spain with. Satnav took us up a single track up hill little venture. My friend decided that he couldn't make the turn, blamed a pothole and decided to turn right and go down the hill some what and get a closeup look at the local tree's. After dropping his Tiger and hearing some noises through the cardo, I stopped and came for a visit. The tiger was kissing the mud, I was showing due concern for the idiot, I mean friend and asking if the bike was OK. After picking up the bike, and checking things over we got it back on the single track. All OK other then the crash frame had moved over an inch. Proves he didn't tighten it properly in the first place but ho hum... Got sorted, everything good and start making our way down the track to find its a dead end.... Fecking satnav! We completed our ride and made it back to the Airbnb to live another day

That's naughty of the training centre, they should have told/reminded you what to bring along

Rode from Poitiers, France down to just up the coast from Bilbao, in torrential rain. It stopped long enough for us to go get some food. Everything is on a major drying out session, even full waterproof kit didn't help!

Giving the bike a wash and check over before next week's trip. Then off for the brother-in-law's b'day drinks. Sunday will involve shotguns and discs is pitch n salt

I'm guessing that cleaning isn't a regular thing
