1. Was that saving with Infinity or somewhere else?
2. Been having a look at pricing for local Kentish honey and it's around £6+ for a 340g (worst I've found is £6.75 for 227g) plus shipping, so I'd take a couple from you if you do decide to do it for us greedy gits.

Putting a guide budget will help with suggestions, but I use the below. Alpinestars Ketchum Gore-tex is my daily jacket which has kept me dry a few times. Alpinestars Drystar Pants Alpinestars Hurricane Rain Jacket Oxford Rainseal banana suit It works but you'll look a bit stupid Gloves as said, in my short biking time I've yet to find a dry pair. Carry a spare set and some rubber gloves.
4. Do you sell/ship? If you do I'll take a few jars off you.
5. It's a 125, limited for CBT level riding. You want quicker, get a license and bigger bike
6. or support the forum a little by using SBS https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_cat/779/#/27907,3203,1186
7. You look at the instructor.... aim for them and pin the throttle
8. Best bet would be to ask where you bought it from or a local Honda dealer.
9. Big long loop today, started at the 1066 cafe for a bit of brunch, then down to Hastings and on to Newhaven harbour for a spot of lunch. Once that was polished off it was down to Brighton, Worthing and Littlehampton before returning home. Nice way to empty the tank and put some fresh super in.
10. The surface of test centre's is bloody expensive higher grip quicker draining tarmac. As said 125's have enough power to hit the 50kph, it's down to the rider confidence in feeding the power whilst coming round the bend. Remember if the examiner asks if you was happy with that, request another attempt becuase that's exactly what they are offering as you didn't get the speed required.
11. bad becuase I cant claim for the travel hours!
12. Just over 12 hours of driving for 3.5 hours of work!!!!
13. The cover I had on my 125 was a BikeIt and is still going strong. Once I replaced the 125 with the tracer I got an Oxford Stormex which has been rpelaced after 7 months due to falling apart. This second one is holding up a little better at the moment. Would I buy another though..... not a hope in hell
14. Another weekend of working for me... this time up in Manchester. More hours travelling to do the work, than the work itself
15. I'm tempted by the Alpinestars Bionic's for when it gets warmer this summer. Plenty of protection if not more than a normal jacket. I do have bike jeans and 'city' boots.
16. I had a few from both the .gov and the 4in1 app videos, so got a decent score on those.
17. Quick ride then giev it a wash and chain job. Also removed those annoying rim stickers that it came with.
18. cleaning the bike on Saturday and work on Sunday.... rare bit of overtime
19. I used the Theory 4 in 1 app and the questions are pretty close, also the hazard perception again was pretty close and only costs a couple of quid. I know many people who have used it and said it helped.
20. Get whatever you can afford the insurance on.
21. When I first started playing around with cars, I bought tools as I needed them and ended up with a real mix n match set. Then I bought a couple of Halfords Professional (pre advanced range) trays, 1 sockets and the other spanners or wrenches if you prefer to call them. Over time whenever they broken I'd taken them bcak and they'd get replaced after some discussion about not still having a receipt umpteen years later. Lifetime guantee they say..... I did splurge on a decent box to put them all in, which meant I met a decent StrapOn tools merchant, who understands that I'm not in the trade, but he's quite accomadating when I need something. Slowly but surely the Halfords are becoming SnapOn.
22. What interest is there for a 60 plate Kawasaki ER-6F, 20962, with a black widow exhuast, but a very clean bike for it's age.

23. What didn't you like about the Versys out of interest?
24. didn't touch it all long weekend!
25. I was on a 125 for a year (covid and lack of tests being the reason) and I found it a great learning aid. It kept me out and about learning. I'd go with getting a 125 until you can book the 3-5 days off for the DAS course. I'm not aware of anywhere that hire's 125's, you'd be paying for a half day lesson with the school which will become expensive quickly. I'm also not aware of any companies that split the DAS down so that you can do a day a week sort of thing. Good luck with which ever way you decide to go down.
