I've been a C4 Pro user for around a couple of years now. Personally the only issue I've ever had is, as Manxie says, the visor not staying open at increased speeds. I have tried my screen in varying positions as I ride but it never stopped the visor slamming closed at around 60mph. My solution was to remove the visor and fit a thicker O-ring on the helmet/visor mounting point. This has mainly cured the issue but occasionally it still occurs on Autobahns.

Buying a Rebel 1100 dct from Craig's Honda Shipley
Yorky replied to Cabunag's topic in Motorbike Chat
I looked in on them earlier this year, the showroom appeared to be very disorganised, but that was due to the sheer volume of stock they had in at the time I think. I have a friend who swears by them, and has bought a few models from there, never with any problems. I ended up buying from Padgetts in Batley. -

What a complete and utter bummer

As @fullscreenagingsays, if they are fitted they must work, but it's not necessary to have them. I bought a CRF300L this year for green laning, this came with indicators, hazards, and the indicators acted as driving lights when not flashing. Due to the nature of the bikes intended use I removed them, but the bike is still road legal.

Wait 'till you get one from your wifes lawyer. Even more so
-
I was so fixated on the tyres, thinking they were more green laners, that I totally missed the lack of some more important details
-
Get supermoto wheels and tyres, I'm guessing you will find some that will fit.
-
Any of those, with that wheel/tyre set up. will be crap on the roads. Yes, they'll do it, but expect to end up on your arse at some point very early on.

Personal accident insurance, con or needed?
Yorky replied to Angela Collen's topic in Motorbike Chat
Personally I believe that ALL insurance companies will not pay out a penny if they can find a way wriggle out of it, and most of them do that by making the policy wording so ambiguos that you give up reading it and hope for the best. -
Isn't that an oxymoron
-
Ah, right. So if my intentions go to plan I'll probably be away before you arrive. I'll keep an eye out for your bike though. If I don't see you I hope you have a good trip

Thanks again for that one. It wasn't quite the way my route was taking me but only a slight adjustment, and I've got all day to ride 130 miles
-
I've got a 130 mile ride into Belgium when I get off the chunnel, again this is just to get away from the Calais area. My ride to the tunnel is slightly shorter at 270 miles. What time train are you booked on ?. I'm booked on the 12.50 but hoping to get there early and get an earlier crossing
-
I'll look out for you, I'm booked on the 18th as well
-
@Gerontious Thanks very much for those two . I will add them onto my GPS. I've now got more routes than days, guess I may have to return next year
-
Do you have any GPX routes ? I am going on the 18th, booked into the Schloss for 5 nights. I have a couple that Bonio was kind enough to post, and I have a couple more that I have cobbled together, but it's always nice to have more choice
