  1. Hi Mate if you rode the bike for a good distance with the tyre flat before you got it repaired there's a strong chance that you might have damage the carcase of the tyre. Get the bike up on a stand and give the wheel a spin and seen if the tyre spins true. Any ripple or wobble will be prevalent at slow speeds and will fade away as you speed up. if this is the case change the tyre without hesitation. On the other hand if the tyre runs true, can you be sure that the guy who did the repair rebalanced the tyre before he refitted the wheel???
  2. Heads up Mate http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weat ... 1402095600
  3. Have you cracked it yet Mate?Waiting for the postman to deliver them! Curious to know where you going to connect, are your going to make at the battery? l see it's rated at 3.7 volts and l think the USB connection outputs 5volts
  4. Have you cracked it yet Mate?
  5. Hi sound very much to me that your fuel tank is trapping some point of the wiring loom and creating a short. Have a look for any pinch points underneath the fuel tank that might be causing the problem. The only wires coming out of the fuel tank should be the fuel gauge sender unless you have a fuel injected bike? Then there could be a fuel pump inside. Again check all connections and make sure nothing is getting trapped.
  6. That bike is well sort after, but for me it's the wrong colour looks very ex police to me. If it was candy red you would not get near it. I would say its an American import with that style of fairing
  7. Nice clip, these little camera's are brilliant for the money. I'm just trying now to connect a permanent power supply to mine the battery is done after a short while. Hoping to get it sorted in time for our run to Assen at the end of the month.

  13. Stick or glass Stu same rules apply.
  14. The plugs look fine by me Mate. Always measure out the oil on a oil change check the manual. Make sure the bike is upright and level and not on it's side stand. Initial fill, fill until you see oil in the sight glass. Then fire her up for a minute or 2 no need to rev it, this will fill up the oil filter and charge the system. Then stop let the motor let it rest. Then recheck your levels and check for leaks, never over fill between the high and low markers on the sight glass is fine. And as said, always make sure the bike is upright and level when you check the levels. Stay safe
  15. No Mate, but believe me it takes some getting off!! That 3 m stuff works you just have keep constant pressure on to break the bond then it peels off. Hope your back soon better and you can get out one.

  18. Hi give the loom switches and components a good physical going over first look for any loose dirty connections, kinked, trapped or broken wires especially around the steering head where the cables are pushed and pulled every time you turn the bike. then open up the connectors one by one and look for any form of corrosion if nothing found that's obvious it starts getting serious, and if l'm honest, if you not electrical minded it's probably better to find somebody who is. By the time you have brought a meter and then fried your brain learning how to use it, you might wish you had. But first things first give it a good looking over.
  19. Good job well done! What ever it is, it was either well over tightened or has not been taken off since God was a lad!
