  1. Simple enough to do to be honest, best get yourself a manual and check it out http://www.lingshondaparts.com/honda_mo ... ock_03=693 Only a few bolts to release and your in there
  2. Asmuch as i would like to, i honestly don't have the tools for that or the knowledge, although i did ask about welding it and al said that doesnt seem to be a good idea with the state it's in, is anyone local to brighouse/hudds/halifax? <3 Don't be spending any money on a replacement exhaust until you have got it checked over first, a replacement gasket is pence and a very easy fix.
  3. Are you sure its not just the exhaust gasket that's blowing? Check the clamp is tight, if it is l would remove the exhaust and check the condition of the gasket if it's gone you will see a black burn mark where the gases have been escaping. If it the pipe that's blowing a good welder should be able to sort it and save yourself a small fortune.
  4. Hi is anybody thinking of go up here tonight? http://www.willinghamwoods.com/
  5. Lol l live in Nottingham : not Liverpool :dupe
  6. who did you order from? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111181617297 This is the one I bought, and it didn't arrive today, starting to get really annoyed I've tagged one of these Ricky ordered it last Sunday, will let you know when mine has landed.
  7. Have to agree with some of the comments on here regarding this show. It's has gone down hill in recent years, taking the entry fee and the cost to get there into account, a bargain buy do's not work out as such a bargain when all added up! Agree It's always nice to have a ride out and meet up with fellow bikers at anytime, just a shame this show has lost some of it's shine
  8. l'm not a big fan of pulling down hard on the front suspension, l prefer to use one of these with the dirt bike. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/17111271 ... 108&ff19=0 The problem with pulling down hard on the forks is that the springs are in constant compression and if not pulled down hard enough as my mate found out after he hit a large pot hole, the hook of the tie down can bounced out of it's keeper. His bike was dragged a good way down the road before he managed to stop.
  9. Hi ya try opening the bleed nipple on the water pump there could be an air lock in the water pump. Would not of thought the fan would be called upon this time of the year unless your stood for ages.

    Bad fuel?

Ok If you think you loosing oil l would suggest you first take a look at your spark plug and what state it's in. Here's a reference to help you, check yours against the oil fouled plug http://www.jagexp.com/article/xj-spark-plugs.html

    Bad fuel?

Very rare that fuel can get you that contaminate in such a short time l have to say. Are you sure that farting noise you say you have is not an exhaust or inlet leak? Either will make this noise and drop off your power.
  12. the bolts - studs should be seated to lock into the hub sounds like either the stud seating face or the seat in the hub has been rounded allowing the bolt - stud to spin, probably not been seated properly or over tighten in the passed. you need to take out the offending bolt - stud and inspect.
  13. Don't forget to switch your phone to flight mode or data transfer off if your contract limits your data down load.
  14. Bikers as a norm look out for each other, l've got no worries with biker camps at all. Big big rallies concerts and the like on the other hand bring in the opportunist and the pro's. We were camping in Spa Belgium for the F1 the other year, a bunch of campers were robbed of there wallet and passports whist asleep in the tents so l know it can be done!! As said, keep your valuables out of site and safe. Littlecat is right, being single on your own camping at rallies is not an issue, if your anything like a social person you normally end up meeting and making a bunch of new friends. Hence why we have the TMBF rally which hopefully we will be able to attend this year.
  15. On the look out for a camera myself Stu, some feedback on this one would be appreciated.
  16. No need to mate the com system is spot on, also you be locking out anyone trying to contact you both if you go down the phone route.

    Seized sump bolt

Hi it sounds like its been well over tightened all you need to do is crush up a copper washer for the sump bolt. As already suggested make sure you've got a snug fitting socket and a power bar and just double check your turning it in right direction you might laugh be it been done believe me. If its really stuck apply heat around the bolt not on the bolt itself. Best of luck
  18. Hi no not really, the sat nav is a high drain on the battery. So as long as the phone charger is managing to hold the battery charge all should be ok
  19. Your running a fire risk never mind the noise which for sure will result in a fine. I don't suppose for a minute you've tried it?
  20. I would not recommend running the bike on a dead battery, bump it if you can and get it home, but treat that as an emergency and get it fixed as soon as, or you could end up trashing your charging system. A good clip here explains why. "> My Bimota has been sorn now for the last 5 years, its sat connected to a Optimate charger still on the same battery and l can go out and fire her up at will. An Optimate charger or the equivalent defiantly worth the investment. And yes l done the parking light switch thing Easily done, now always turn and check before l leave the bike.
  21. Hi Mate, l be very surprised if your power connection will fit the phone inside there case, l had to buy there's in the end it's a lot smaller than the norm.
  22. Here you go mate http://www.ultimate-mobiles.co.uk/Vehic ... ccessories I've got the stem mount for the galaxy s3 on the Busa no isses what so ever, be sure to order a designated charger as the case as will not take any other connecton in sat nav mode the phone battery is soon rinsed.
  23. Hi and welcome, best form of protection and armour is to quickly learn to ride defensively, look ahead learn to predict and anticipate. Body armour on the roads will protect you to some extent but never let the amour make you complacent. Take your time, enjoy and stay safe
  24. Nice job you've done there Mate
  25. Should be straight forward, the ABS is all electronic so as long as the brake system is fully bled and pressures up there should be no issues. Hopefully you should have no reason to test the ABS
