  2. Hi and welcome. Had the same thing on mine. Went to the school first thing and they called the centre. If it's properly frosty they could well cancel it, but it will just be how things look on the day. All the best with it.
  3. Good to have you
  4. Hi, warm welcome and Happy New Year
  5. That's all well and good, but have you tried asking for the wine list?
  6. Could have been worse!
  7. Maybe give it time? I used to drive a forklift truck. Night one was agony on my shoulders. Week one was uncomfortable. By the end of the second week I'd developed muscles in all the right places and it was never a problem again.

  10. If anyone wants to download and use my spreadsheet to keep track of their scores I've shared it here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1_d3VioyFfYsOxyyI_HHK7C7ncKV6fuOo Have left last year's scores in place so you get the idea, but click on 2024 and start filling it in.
  11. @Hoggs - not to be ungrateful for all your hard work, but we're missing the red "Challenge2024" tag on this thread and the following threads: https://themotorbikeforum.co.uk/topic/50276-challenge-2024-map-and-pictures-only https://themotorbikeforum.co.uk/topic/50274-challenge-2024-scores/ It was helpful last year to jump between the different threads.
  12. Howdy
  13. I've got the Tiger Explorer 1200. Useful upgrades are the rear hugger to cut down on tyre splatter, led spots on the engine bars, and a shock sock. Have a small tank bag as well, very handy for phone/keys/wallet etc. Have fun
  14. Took delivery of my new Ultimate Addons heated grips (10% discount from Richy Vida's YouTube channel). Peeled off the rubber from the old grips and spotted a broken wire. Made a bit of a running repair, covered it in hot glue and heat resistant tape and stuck it all back together. I now have a spare set of heated grips for when the inevitable happens...
  15. License wasn't the issue. They'd both assumed (incorrectly) that the guy borrowing the minibus was allowed to drive it third party on his fully comp car insurance. The police took action against both parties. Point being, you can get in trouble lending your vehicle to someone who isn't insured, as well as being the person who rides/drives uninsured.
  16. Bearing this in mind, just about to buy a travel guitar.
  17. I did once know a guy who had several children - too many in fact to put in a standard 7 seater, so he had a minibus. His brother borrowed it, kangarooed it at the lights and was promptly pulled over by a policeman. He thought he was driving it on his fully comp car insurance, but it turned out it didn't cover such a large vehicle. The police decided to do him for driving without insurance, but he promptly disappeared. In his absence, they hauled in the owner of the minibus and gave him a caution for aiding and abetting. Seemed somewhat petty, and a bit of a reach, but he didn't challenge it.
  18. Lovely bikes
  19. Happy Christmas all

  22. If we all buy one of these it will change the weather. For the worse.
  23. Very swanky. I'm more a pie n' chips man myself though
  24. Hi, welcome
