  1. Looks good Bob and a very nice area. Less distance for me as well. Stu sugested Cumbria, which would be a mega trip for us southerners. However, given the company and scenery and roads, me n Ohjay, mrs Ohjay and probably Borgy would probably travel anywhere in England or Wales???
  2. Oooohhhh errrrrrrr missuss
  3. Peolple please, stop worrying about the weather!!! Did it pi$$ it down last year,? Did we have a bloody good time? Nuff said. Be there , or miss out on a great weekend!!!
  4. No probs mate, got my manometer balancer gauges in the car.
  5. No probs mate.
  6. You made a Busa MORE ugly!
  7. I can carry another tent in the Passat. Heading to Wokingham, north to M40, A43 to Rothersthorpe, M1, Alfreton and Winster???
  8. We'll give it a good coat of looking at the rally and hopefully tell you how to sort your farting problem!
  9. If it is a nearly new bike you shouldn't be having exhaust problems yet! Take it back to the bike shop and get them to sort it out under warranty?
  10. Bikes are parked on hard standing, gravelly bit near the pub mate.
  11. Some bigger bikes have removable baffles and some smaller two strokes. Most are welded up. A lot of Chinese stuff dissolves fairly quickly.Post some pix of the front pipe and silencer. Depending on what copy your engine is, I think it's a CG125 Honda copy, buy a CG125 silencer or just the header part that fits to the engine. Look on Youtube, theres some modified/re-engineered exhausts on there for your bike.
  12. Unless it's part of your insurance cover or if you ride the bike every day, get rid of it. I have read of so many alarm systems ruining good batteries over winter , with an Optimate connected, and when bikes aren't used every day!!!
  13. Don't leave it too late mate, Don't wanna create any problems like leaking sump plugs or spongy brakes the day before. Ideally have it all sorted tonight or tomorrow night?
  14. Come and say hello on Friday and Saturday Ken. We are all fairly friendly, except Techno
  15. I'll be travelling in my Passat, towing my fireblade and Ohjays VFR up the M40, A43 and M1 from Rothersthorpe on Friday afternoon.
  16. Baffles get gummed up with carbon. Carefully undo the bolt and use mole grips or a wire coat hanger to remove the baffle. If it wont come out, you will need to remove the silencer and bang the back end onto a block of wood to loosen the baffle. Once out , clean baffle with a wire brush in a drill or hand. If it is rotted, do some accurate measuring , post on here and I'll make you a new one. Do you have pix of a drawing of front end of silencer and header pipe to engine? Found this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRAND-NEW-KYM ... 4ab925c541 Doesn't look like the baffle is removable ???
  17. Could be rotted baffles or blown out packing on one side
  18. I modify exhausts and collectors mate. Can you get the sealing ring off the collector/linkpipe? Get an accurate measurement of the inside of the silencer inlet and outside of the linkpipe outlet. Then I can probably help?
  19. Both routes sucessfully copied to my Tom Tom 730T
  20. Well it must be possible mate, don't usually need to take engine out to remove a drain plug or filter. Ask a yammy mechanic tomorrow? What does the manual say?
  21. Firing order is usually 1243 ?

    leccy fault

Alternator fault not getting enough volts to battery when lights are on? or dodgy battery?
  23. I'll check em out and bring em then
  24. I have some dodgy mercury filled ones that were given to me. Never used em and haven't got any inlet port adaptors. If you can get some adaptors for your bike , I'll bring the gauges?
  25. Was wondering when you,d be along mate. I,ll have a look for my sledgehammer.
