I left Ians at 1330 and got home about 1900! Took the A roads to the M5/M42 junction to avoid the usual crap at Birmingham. Just unloaded the bike and car and finally having a sitdown. Was a fantastic weekend thanks to Sue and Ian. Brilliant company with the usual entertainment provided by TC, Jorbandit and especially Gary. That T Rex story almost stopped me breathing. Great to meet Spanky and his good lady, the single malt was superb. I left my spare Blade battery at Gills Ian, so I'm hoping she can dropped it at yours and bring it and the airpump to Winster, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeze? Anyway a few pix, mainly our rideouts. Arrived at Sue,s at 1330, unloaded my camping gear and headed for Remy,s to unload my bike. Had a quick look at Gill,s bike and just arrived back at Sue and Ian,s . I have a bed tonight, which is a massive bonus, thanks Ian and Sue.

I use MucOff PTFE dry spray every 200miles. My last DID X ring chain did over 30,000 miles !!!

Buy yerself a Haynes workshop manual and learn how to do the simple jobs yerself. Will save a lot of money and worry

Not too nadgery Cat, a lot of wide open B roads with spectacular views. Not sure on route back from Llangollen, picked that from googlemap as better than the A5. Don,t worry, I won,t abandon you.!!!

They would have saved you a lot of agro with this off mate. 99% of drops are low speed anyway. My trackbike went down at 150mph, slid for 100yards on the crash mushroom and just scuffed the barend and clutch lever!!!

Good idea Bob. Replace sensor first and if still worried , remove sensor, fit an adaptor and pressure gauge in the hole and confirm good oil pressure from pump!

Been looking at possible routes for a rideout on Saturday or Sunday for those not going to Tonfanau races. This route takes us through the Berwyn mountains, to a fabulous waterfall, to Bala and then to the Ponderosa and a back road route back to Telford. Check yer chain tension, it might get tighter with a pillion. Also check sprockets for hooking. Chain is better slack than tight, but not too slack.

My home made stainless cans do that. Stainless always discolours. Have to insulate it or keep polishing!

I have heard of other makes carbon cans burning through and leaving burn marks on the outside. I had a tempered stainless one and it was fine
