  1. Welcome to come plod with us Chris. About 6 of us going together. Can either come to us in Heanor or we're meeting Jam and Derek at Leicester Forest East services. Plan from there so far is all the way down the A46.
  2. I noticed, I just assumed you'd finally noticed I wasn't mature enough to be called an adult Most of the sections have been rearranged I notice as well.
  3. Life is a sexually transmitted condition with a 100% death rate
  4. To play Devil's advocate: arguably you haven't taken away his greatest joy even if you did ban him from driving for life. There is nothing physically stopping him getting in a car and driving again and from his current driving record there was not a single s*** given there so why should he give one about not having a licence?

    Bicycle

What sort of bike? Road? Mountain? If you've got a Decathlon anywhere nearby then their bikes are actually rather good. I don't know much about mountain bikes, they just feel like bouncy castles to me. If you're after a road bike then the B-Twin Triban 500 is an incredible bike for the money, best bike in that price range with Carbon forks.
  6. If it was a Honda I'd say reg/rec It was running so should have been charging the battery so battery should have had some charge when you stalled it and been able to start again. Not being able to start immediately after it had been running says to me battery's not getting charge.
  7. Lower Lode Inn, Forthampton (Nr Tewkesbury), Gloucestershire, GL19 4RE
  8. You ringing ahead, Joe? I'm on a promise from Tiggie if he turns up on his 125 again I'm allowed to throw it in the river This would be the 4th year he'd come on it...
  9. Becketts grandstand. You can see most of the new arena section, watch them hare off down Wellington straight and then pick them up again through Copse and through Maggots/Becketts/Chapel section, watching them flow through there is something to behold! If you like crashes they all happen braking down the hill into Vale (what hill there is on Silverstone) And just be aware of where you're being pointed if you're camping in their camp site, when I went we had booked the family camping and followed the marshals directions. When we got back from practice Friday we were in the noisy field with people rammed in so close there were tent pegs under our tent on one side, under my car the other and someone blasting the Doors at full blast ALL NIGHT immediately opposite
  10. :bday: Happy birthday Gary, have a good day
  11. I have one the opposite on my way in to work, using the empty lane slows everything up: A31 dual carriageway into Guildford and then the lanes split. Left hand lane goes onto the A3 and right hand lane goes into Guildford. A3 lane is always queueing for about the last mile but lane into Guildford usually clear. I'm heading into Guildford and the people who go up the right hand lane to where it splits and then stop in the middle of the road with their left indicators on REALLY annoy me, ends up with the whole right hand lane queueing for the twats!
  12. Isn't that true in every layer of elections? Promise the earth to get your vote and then do what they were going to anyway?
  13. These tires are far too good, I feel far too happy riding on them

    i want one

Price is only slightly higher than the top end action cameras already so I don't think it's too bad Only one I can find online is £280 Latest GoPro is £290 (not that I'd spend that on one personally) Drift Ghost is £200 Love the idea but where to mount it? In order to see all round it'd have to be on your head but then it may well miss most stuff anyway because it doesn't film down that far.
  15. Did my looking longingly into your eyes singing "I would do anything for love" count as crap then?
  16. Latest rumour I've heard is that the row was over food not being ready after a day of filming but Clarkson and this producer will have worked with each other for years, surely. They'll know what's serious and how to set each other off. I don't think it'll be nearly as good without him. They've all managed to really upset people before, look up how May got sacked from Autocar. Read into this what you will but they're not filming today out here and Wednesday is the usual filming day
  17. http://www.donington-park.co.uk/news/20 ... -of-wales/ Basically Circuit of Wales have dicked them around too much and it's at the point they need to start seriously getting stuff ordered and paid for and CoW haven't come up with the goods so Donington have walked away Gutted, I had tickets and the time off work and everything
  18. Need a bit more info If you're introducing something into the organism via a plasmid there's every chance it could be exchanged with a native species and then you'd be tracking the movement of the plasmid and the gene rather than the strain you introduced in the first place
  19. Happiest Days of Our Lives - Pink Floyd
  20. Don't drag the clutch in the car like you do on the bike, they're very different designs and dragging it will shorten it's life. Replacing a car clutch isn't as easy as a bike's, either. I went the other way, car first, and on my first lesson on the bike one of the very first things my instructor said was "so how long you been driving?", apparently I used the clutch far too much like a car. Don't filter
  21. Happy birthday TMBF http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2013/142/0/d/_village_people__smiley__animated__by_cyberdreamlady-d665iov.gif We'll have to have a get together and a knees up to celebrate... maybe wait for the weather to improve a bit, let's say... end of June? Did you start it in January 'coz you were bored you couldn't get out on the bikes?
