  1. Congrats mate.....no stopping you now then..... Good luck with MOD2....I'm sure you'll breeze it......
  2. You can leave the cap off the reservoir while bleeding the brake so you can keep an eye on the level and top-up if necessary. Although your front pads still have plenty of material left on them they may have glazed. So you can either remove them and rough the surface up with a bit of fine sand paper or replace the pads with some better make ones id they're available. personally I'd go with the second option. Not sure that being able to lock the front wheel is a terribly good idea.......
  3. Can't see the number in your John O'Groats pic Roy.....you'll have to go back and do it again......
  4. Hey...well done mate..... Time to get on with the serious business now.......new bike time.....
  5. Yeah....from inside a nice warm car maybe.....
  6. Archie you smooth operator you.
  7. Bad luck mate......but keep at it.....you'll get through......
  8. Nice pics Techno......gotta do that one day....but I think I'll wait for slightly warmer weather..... You guys thawed out yet.....
  9. I am absolutely no use to you whatsoever here Katie....but when I tried doing this on my Speed Four I ended up changing the Speedo to Km/H and the temp readout to Fahrenheit...... Have fun.....
  10. Gotta say that my Bell Daytona is tight....but not so tight to cause a headache......it's actually really comfortable even after 3-4hours riding.......first lid I've found that's this comfortable.....
  11. I had a lid that was too tight across the forehead......almost always got a headache when wearing it.......got another lid in the end....
  12. Sorry guys......a bit far away for me...... I couldn't keep up with you guys anyway.....
  13. The Cricketers at Ickleford...
  14. Cool....good turn out..... Easter runs can always be a bit dodgy weather wise......but it looks like it went really well.....
  15. Tango

    Dropped a cylinder

And spray around the plug caps and connections with ACF50 or WD40....or another electrically safe water repellant....
  16. On your head be it then...........that was my attempt at a joke..... Lids are really one of those things that you just know when you put it on that it's the right one........ My Bell lid is easily the best lid I've ever worn.....a bit noisy, but comfortable and light and well ventilated......and SHARP 5* rated....
  17. Well....I can't have a week off and not get any tags.......so 150mile round trip to get Snetterton.....took the scenic route..... Was gonna head down to London for Tower Bridge, Ace Cafe and Brands Hatch......but once I started riding decided it was a silly idea.....save those for a weekend I think.... The London ones (at least Tower Bridge) will be a pain when the Diamond Jubilee and Olympics are on as there's gonna be serious restrictions to traffic all around that area....so just bear that in mind when you are planning your trip to get that tag.....
  18. Well.....it was a tad cool there this evening.......and a severe lack of bikes too..... Not around next week as mortgage bloke coming round.....
  19. Both are good well known makes......so it really comes down to you....which is the most comfortable as if a lid is too tight it could give you a headache on a long run......but then you don't want it loose either.....
  20. Chill Alan....you're still on the list..... http://www.themotorbikeforum.co.uk/view ... 11&t=43578
  21. Cheers Gin.... Either that or you'll see me on the news being arrested for murder.....
  22. My pleasure mate...... Bike's sitting outside looking at me.......
  23. Gin....that's nothing.....but I'm not going to say any more......
  24. Nice one mate........Congrats.....
