  1. I go 8 x 6 . A fraction bigger than the 7 x 5 but still smaller than a standard plate size, gives it a better look without attracting too much undue attention from the old bill.
  2. Yes l fell into that trap, l was far too lackadaisical when l started, took me 3 races to sort it out, still it's just a bit of fun.
  3. No Upsidedownguys. Tell me about it, there should be a gardening section, very therapeutic!
  4. Ha Haar... I bet your farts smell of roses..
  5. Hi welcome. The Inazuma is like a Bandit I'm guessing..
  6. You got a grump on you mardy sod, read what he says, some tyres can be used in both directions depending whether front or back use.
  7. Here in Lincolnshire we are lucky to have Mark Brunt supplying and fitting our tyres. http://www.mobile-bike-tyres.co.uk/index.html If I was you I'd be looking online to check what your tyre choice prices are, and comparing with your local choices of fitters.
  8. Dum dum Dum dum.. Cue the Jaws soundtrack as I close in on last place..
  9. I got one to hide the age of my bike, it says 4Q.
  10. I avoid the motorways/ dual carriageways as much as possible and try and find the A/B roads for a more leisurely ride.
  11. Have you thought about what sort of mileage you want to cover in day? That's getting on a 3000 mile round trip. (I used London as a starting point and down to Dubrovnik) That's a lot of miles in the saddle, either allow plenty of time and/or be very flexible.
  12. Annoying isn't it. Hopefully you'll manage to forget all about it once it arrives. Not a good look for Triumph though.
  13. Have a look at exhausts on new bikes and where they sit, the space just isn't there anymore in a lot of cases, it's full of catalytic converter.
  14. Some Hoggs points here. Pig breeds, the Lincolnshire Curly Coat also known as the Baston (Now extinct) Also ThreekingHAM. There are millions of villages with Ham (Meaning farm or homestead) around here so I'm trying to change it up a little bit. Forgot one, Swineshead.
  15. Yeah I'm a torquer, 1/2" on bigger stuff and 3/8" on the smaller stuff. I have become more cautious with the given torque values though, they are not always correct. The sump plug on the Yamaha CP2 engine for example.
  16. Little bit of a procession the racing, looks like the PBM team will do ok this season . Surely the talking point of the weekend is Skinners helmet coming off in his spill, that was scary!
  17. Also you may want to spend some money on tyres and handling, suspension, brakes. So you are at least getting the best you can from what you have.
  18. Irwin will do well on the Ducati this year, he'll be there or thereabouts. That being said l don't like the bloke, dunno if it's because he looks like a weasel, I can only understand every third word he says, dunno. I wouldn't trust him I know that.
  19. The Honda you are looking at also comes in a 70 and 90 cc. More cc's give you more power and that small increase could be beneficial with carrying anything you may want to move.
  20. It happens, sharpens the mind after something like that I find. People think it's a doddle driving around but it's not.
  21. As above my first thought was electric, and have a C90 as back up. Have you built a shelter? How do you see events with everything panning out?
  22. Maybe the insurance group the bike is in could be a factor. I mean if you went from your Honda to a sports bike they may question you, but mid sized bikes of limited power? They may take the opportunity to charge you more but as long as you pass your medicals you should be ok l would hope.
  23. I like a little video entertainment with music when I post on here, something for the eyes as well as the ears. Here's one that just came into my feed.
  24. Forgive me but didn't you just get it looked at when you put the tyres on it? Loads of good roads to pootle about on around you, Braintree to Beccles and have lunch? just get out and put a few miles on it, clear a tank of fuel through it a couple of times will do it the power of good.
