  1. Maybe thats why he joined?
  2. Also on and near the welds, creases on the metal can be suspected too.
  3. Some brands are worse than others for discs and bolts rusting. Acf on bolts, little scrub with a fine grit paper or red sponge to the discs. agree with nick
  4. Kill joy might aswell get as much use out of the jumper while time is nearing? Lol. Sounds like aload of line managers / bosses very unprofessional there, word of your shuffling/ looking else where shouldn't have gotten anywhere further around the chain than directly. None of that is your problem of internal same ranking bickering, hopefully gets sorted quickly and remember just keep looking to the light!!!!
  5. Yep its a nope for straight lining roundabouts for passing tests which for beginners is a good for caution but one thing both theories agree about are no wheelies, stoppies, burnouts for some reason .
  6. Ta. Very very wet... Shoes and clothes shopping, assemble stuff, but a fruit tea with pop bubbles and jellys for lunch and good amount of whiskey after tea . booked tickets at o2ritz for week after. artificial trees in this household only, new ornaments acquired for it thou.
  7. Pic??? The other possibility is the clutch Could be for the starter clutch switch. So the bike knows the clutch is pulled in before starting particularly if its based on the suzuki bikes.
  8. Welcome! daughter as a baby loved cars only because the wife wouldnt go on the bike of a zx6r while over 6months carry for some reason?? She hated doing less than 60 in the car while in wifes belly and made it really uncomfortable for her...1,2,3 powwwwer!! sounds of a straight 6 doing 11's and drifting made her happy. she would only sleep while watching and the sounds of bmws and old big block American v8 on hill climbs.
  9. Acf50 was the best and easiest to het hold of for many years, plus it didnt turn turn you bike yellow but the new clear xcp looks like its just pipped it and better availably.
  10. Nice bike and colour. Most huggers and fenders now adays are crap ( holy moly i sound old ) against winter crap to be honest even unless if you have those more than 3/4 wheel covers from the salt strips or old harleys... good job, as to the further training... cane be useful only as it can fill in holes in your knowledge of riding skills as not everybody knows everything or have and idea whats is good to practice even afterwards you do it you can take parts that you need to for improvement.
  11. Good! all the bits of information will help you figure things out, now you have a reference to work out what you need to make things better and easier for yourself.
  12. Spot on. question would stickers stick to the metal? or stick/print on a clear perspex outer ring plate?
  13. Thanks! was that with feet up? And full weight bearing? 26-30mm from bike static and not from top out? Cool sounds somewhere about last piece is how much of the shock shaft is clean? so this will help answer is the shock valving Working early and maxes early? when warm, push it down hard and when its returning through the stroke is it slow like bread being squeezed or fast like its pushing your hands back faster than you and does it make it giggle at the top (look at the exhaust tip orreg plate), or inbetween like its fast at first but slows as it comes near the top? reason i said things to check is the wave wear pattern on the tyre from the picture of the tyre suggests its bouncing about too much when lent over and your running high tyre pressures so that rules the oem tyres out that. with a more adjustable shock you could slow the damping down.
  14. Id prefer the letters being a quarters . T at 12, M at 3 etc and facing the correct way up top of font facing up at all times but thats my two pence worth.
  15. From my experience of numerous brands from both car and bike world that is definitely not always the case... Yep never a guarantee. if you stick with one of the main ones or at least one that has stood by a brand for sooo long like Padgetts in Batley for example your adding to you odds.
  16. Yep still do it as Over coats, with varying degrees of anti oxidation properties. If you think the foam is taking the coating off (some products on the market have salt or similar base ingredients in) switch it to a different one that isn't aggressive, or just wash with low pressure water and dry. if tou think its not working try not doing it this year, sure ull notice very quickly.
