Yep Bender Think it had SAS operation manoeuvres in mind, Warthog at the ready. Ma Twice(leaving alton towers dont ask and devon) it decided roads i wouldn't consider on a ratty 125 let alone a proper bike or heaven forbid a wider vehicle like a super mini... maybe that's because i had master chief on?? its also told us to take a slip road off the motorway when we was about 100 or less miles off our actual junction but id assume there was a smash jp the road so it was diverting us only to put tell us to go back on the same motorway we just got off , it momentarily broke up made the boring motorway journey. that might be because i have had red fraggle on??? Jim hendrrson lives on in digital format. so is it me not seeing that these options give different directions and options??? if its not a serious journey id go Waze cos it definitely finds ways to make it an event.

Yet Another ER5 Project
RideWithStyles replied to Fozzie's topic in Old Motorbikes, Projects and Restorations
Was it only on one lobe? If it was poor lubricant it would have done scratches and scars moving with the rolation of the cam to pretty much most or all but they look more like pitting and chips and many so close together and in the particular direction likely a floating metal particle or who ever got in there before hand chipped them some how and not that long ago.. prized the cam off or left in a box and shit got thrown on top like at a scrappers yard? One of many possibilities. -
Yet Another ER5 Project
RideWithStyles replied to Fozzie's topic in Old Motorbikes, Projects and Restorations
At least they aint the kawasaki tokico 6pots! They cost more, needed more work , nearly impossible to bleed properly, still half as powerful of a single pot for a cbf125. -
Waze is fun looking and has some interesting features like constant updates from other users of problems like traffic etc but Holy moly it doesn't half take you down some weird and pretty sketchy single track route if it gets the chance... sure the AI is a crude sense of humour. Also sometimes thinks your an Alzheimer infested goldfish needing telling more than three times before you get to the junction and a few more while manoeuvring it... putting in stops or very specific directions are not easy to do. favourites to give instructions are master chief which the new update ads some amusing quets, The other is red raggle...watch out for Gourds!! googles is dependable and just does a good job, fairly decent a working out if there are problems on the road and better than the garmins... tablet would need mobile connection (sim) or tethered to a mobile which will double devices with double the drain. Id be choosy on a tablet for such a job...

Xjr1300 fuel leak from petcock exit piece
RideWithStyles replied to carlos randolez's topic in Motorbike Chat
Pictures may help. Whats the bikes age? Id advise against using E10 fuel on an old bike like ours. Some designs have the seal showing on the outside while others are hidden so more on the inside. youll have to buy a proper seal kit and strip the unit down to be be-able to fit it on. -
Depends on what you want and feel is correct to you. The nest is more compact mostly due to the knox aegis back protector pictured below which i have in my track suit, being thinner and actuated with moving plates like a lobster, curves when u want to but doesn't want to hyper extend the other way which would be really bad... This is still a lv2, quite breathable, very light, not Affected by heat variations in performance. the SAS is abit more conventional and cheaper to make in certain terms as to put it crudely expanding foam so at the cheaper end of RST and held for examples. Its performance i cant remember exactly if its a level 1 or two but thinking its more on lv1 as they take the view that the air bag will do most of the work...id prefer it the other way. So similar to armour within most clothing you probably have now in terms of thickness or stiffness but yet not as stiff or chunky as forcefield products which for the record are good but not for me. They have heat variations in performance so nice to check that your happy with those. Dont be too concerned about the fork sensor to speed things up as the lanyard setup at 30ms is absurdly quick and reliable so to me no point in introducing another variable to confuse or depend on. the nest is more than enough for the road, will be the most comfortable and less bulky but thats my preference.

They have different feel and sizes that might make one or the other be better to you than someone else between the knox and sas. so personally it would be a sensible to try on before you buy.

Maybe she already knows and it just amuses her.

Depends on if they prefer blends, single malts, peated or non peated. The japs whiskeys are actually quite nice and easy going with a clean palette are generally non peat blended. the aldi whiskeys are quite good and cheap, just depends if you ok with blends and knowing which part of Scotlands choices you prefer. there is a tesco own label that's surprisingly good too. famous grouse as a blend isnt too bad and not wasted as a mixer, if you like smokey the dark grouse wouldnt be sniffed at. Im not keen on the Irish whiskeys and American stuff. JW is trash, way overpriced trash. Now for the record a good blend is abit of a craft in its self but single malts , non peated for me but my brother likes peated too. My favourites of singles in alphabetical order. Auchentoshan even the American oak. Bruichladdich classic laddie blue bottle is my fav and a drop of water really makes this. Dalwhinnie, winter one is quite nice. Glenfiddich, common as muck but the standard. Glengoyne, a small distillery. Glenmorangie, similar to Fiddich but easier palette. Laphroaig. Tamnavulin, only the one but just can't remember though.

You need to think of your individual lengths, how short are you? Longer arms? If you just hack the lower legs off the pants the knee placement will be below your actual knee position . Same with the arms... some brands accommodate the chonky person, generally if you look at german brands will give you a better choice.

Buying a Rebel 1100 dct from Craig's Honda Shipley
RideWithStyles replied to Cabunag's topic in Motorbike Chat
Personally i found the rebel bike was quite a extreme body position and certainly for me let alone £10k. General Warranty for the first year will be with honda but they may push you to the dealer you bought through unless it breaks down way from local area. the second year is through the dealer you bought and honoured by honda. -
Haynes manual...lol
-
Dont think its cos their too large, more like the fitment and joints look nasty.
-
Yes they will be old school filament bulbs, none cap based so the wire connections are looped outside the glass body should be 5-10w jobs.
-
you should always just say nope they're junk, but to up lift say she could recycle it...to the tip. Oh don't forget to add (said with a northern accent); Dang right luckly little shite, young laddie never heard of asbestos let along had to mess about with, used to play with that stuff in the old mills when we were kids. No sodden health and safety back then you either go stuck in or some other FoOka would do it and ya bee daan the road. couldn't afford meals so eat owt including road kill cos we weren't paid enough, we went nicking apples or find stuff out of bins...dont even know ya was born .

If it was banging into cut out on a flat id guessed it was shorter geared. Yep thats normal for them and just how the japs set them at era of engine and 5speed gearing. best when tackling slow and rough roads at high altitude while carrying 5sacks of rice and family on the back. it should sort of briskly or leisurely depending on you out look getting to the top speed but still either a thou or so short of max red line on a flat to the soft cut out. now these air cooled engines can be abit breathless at high revs and just set up for the next gear, but you still need to balance with 5 speeds. To test can you go or feel it could be eager to go faster to the top speed in a gear or two lower? But as soon as you hit 5th it struggles or just the same but an extra few mph can be made (how many rpm does it drop from 4th to 5th?)
-
Yes now the claws come out!
-
Yes to a point, what id do if a dealer is not near you is visit a motorbike show like nec or the london one, they will be there with a stand and get to try it on with them to help you and possibly go home with one on discount?.

correct fit is a better bike. If the grips are too small for your hands it strains them (back of hand, wrists and fingers) as you have to use extra muscle strength and their position to hold the bars, then you have to over reach to grab the levers and adjusting the reach only cheats and masks the problem. also reducing transferring vibrations from the engine so its less tiresome and more from the tires to you more lets you know subconsciously whats the bike doing under you.
