Scorpion
Around here, we still live in the 1900's and havent yet got wheelie bins!!!!We stil put our binbags out, and every day now, a cat/fox/badger is ripping our binbags open, the neighbours have exactly the same problems. The council give us these like cages for one bin bag, but its only a mesh, and the animals just rip the bag through them. Any idea on something i can put the bags in, or anything to stop them?!

Inithra
Patience, an infra-red scope and a shotgun Or yeah, bins. Just because the council doesn't provide em doesn'tmean you can't get your own.Or if you are tight, go to a DIY type place (Wickes etc) and they usually have pallets they are chucking away you can have for free. Bodge a couple of those into an enclosure?
GazW
Cyanide infused bin bags?

Swiss Rolls
just wait up, or get up early. And ping em with a reasonably powered bb gun, no lasting damage but i'm sure it will deter them after a few days
nman1
Try sprinkling with pepper. You could piss yourselfe laughing watching them sneezing as well.

TC
There is some stuff you can get that you spray in your garden to deter cats, That might work.and someone at work that keeps Chickens in the garden says Human wee sprinkled around deters the foxes (binmen might not be happy if you pee on the bags)Otherwise put the bags in a dustbin. Guest
Cayenne pepper! putting a circle of it around the bags should keep them away. Had some cat/dog messing the front lawn recently so put down a circle dusting of this stuff and now the neighbours get the mess
iWannaGoFast
As above, cyanide pills in the rubbish, or hook something metal in them up to the national grid.

Roadtorque
Stand the frame on a rubber mat, connect the mesh to 240v supply a time switch would be good, on at midnight, off at 6,00 am, to save you frizzing your hair,,,,,,
madcatalicat
ok a sensible suggestion, we had this problem in our back yard, we got in touch with the nearest zoo (it works) and got some Big cat poop and spread it into the flower beds, the buggers never came back, the veggies grew realy well too.
