nman1 Posted June 25, 2013 Share Posted June 25, 2013 Well peeps, I`ve had to come to a very hard decision. I will not be coming along to the rally . First one I`m going to miss in quite a few years. I may not have mentioned but I had everything planned for the rally LAST weekend, even down to the fact of dragging out the tent, sleeping bag etc and piling things up in my living room so as not to forget anything. Basically, I`ve double booked. On the Saturday I will be off to Royal Windsor Racecourse for a days horseracing with a coach load from Brampton.From last Tuesday night, when I found out I cocked up, I`ve been fighting with what to do and the final straw that`s made up my mind is down to dosh. Without going into detail, this PAY month has been very bad, with several things coming all at once, and whilst I know the racing will not be cheap, I can limit my bets or even not bother and just go for a days bevvie and a laugh. I think I would have had to duck out of one event even if they had of been on different weekends. I`m having an expensive holiday in October so (with bonus not looking good) I`m having to save hard to meet my commitments.Have a good one folks, (I`m more than sure you will) and hope to meet up at some point this year.Believe me when I say "I`ll be thinking off you", possibly not Saturday cus I may be pissed but definately on Friday and Sunday. I'll bring extra undies Cat - Won't be the same as the white ones you bought me last time - I had the pi$$ taken out of me but..... At least I was dry (where it counts!). Got a great deal on a midget (spy) wireless camera for t'bog - Just need to rig it up to the 'wide screen' in the bar. 1 day to go!!!!!
