for anyone who knew him, or anyone who didn't but would like to honour him with one last ride.

the funeral will take place on Tuesday the 15th December at 12 , at parkwood crematorium

park road

Elland

HX5 9HZ

we are trying to arrange a huge bike escort, and the meet up place will be

Reeth Road

Brighouse

HD6 3HY.. road behind the shops on highfield RD, and bikes need to be facing Bedale avenue, to turn right when the procession goes past.

leaving there around 11.45, so I would suggest arriving earlier.

after the crematorium we are heading to

Brighouse sports and social club

Russel Way

Bradford Road

HD6 4LX

if anyone wants any other details please pm me, and can anyone definitely coming on a bike let me know so we have a rough idea of numbers...hoping to give the lad the send off he deserves....

fancy dress and baffles out would be much appreciated, but not essential.

Also , no floral tributes please, the family have requested donations only, which will be going to the british bikers relief foundation in Aarons memory.

I am off on the day so all going well I will be there

Unfortunately I won't be on the bike

I will definitely be there. Will come on the bike.

Offer of assistance.

If anyone is unsure of locations of either the estate or Elland crem I am more than willing to meet up prior to the time to show the way from the motorway etc. (it's my home town)

Are you going to put details up on the BBRF Facebook page Cat?........They may be able to get some more bikes to come along.

I'll see if there's any guys from other bike groups I know that could come along too if you want?

Let's see what I can do.

I have a great photo of him sat on my bike with his dragon tail between his legs like a massive colourful dong!!

I feel its only right that the same bike is there to see him off...

Hoping I can make it, but can't guarantee at the moment.

Thanks guys, tango feel free mate, trying to get as many there as possible, be good for his mum to see huge support from the biking community

no worries rennie, we can have our own send off for him at the next rally, I think his mum was wanting us to take him on a ride to scatter the ashes at some point

Sorry Cat, cos I've only just started at this job I don't have any holiday built up to use..

I hope it's a wonderful send off and my thoughts are with you all.. x

Posted

Sorry but I cannot make this due to essential meetings in Bristol during that week.

My thoughts will be with you all on that day and I hope the send off goes well.

I too have fond memories of a good chap who liked to ride (and wear that 'Dragon Costume'). he will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilage of knowing him.

My thoughts will be with you and all of his family and friends on the day Cath. Like some have already said, my leave for this year has been used up.

Ride well Aaron on God`s highways.

Hope to be there, waiting to hear from boss about changing day off but shes usually ok, did TC say he was going from Stockport too? Dont know area at all but its only about 45 mins for me.

I'll see you all there - Fozzie can't get out of work unfortunately. I don't have any holiday left but I've done them a whole lot of favours so far, now it's my turn (and luckily they're very nice people and understanding). Won't be on Ermintrude/Erminturd though as she's in need of repair!

Will be nice to see all who are going, but so sad as to why x

Posted

I want to come on my bike, Aarons family could have so easily blamed bikes for taking him but they haven't. I will get stuck in & sort the repairs on my bike.

I can't get the day off work...gutted as well after I rushed to get the bike MOTd. Thoughts will be with the family and all the riders

Posted

I'd love to come, but I'm at work! Shame it isn't on a weekend!

My thoughts go to him, his family & friends.

cath and everyone else making the journey to see this young man off on his last ride as you know i cant make it but my thoughts will be with everyone saying their goodbyes and also please raise a glass in his honour from myself and everyone who cant make it but wished they could

I'm going to have to miss the big send off too. Work commitments and my daughters first ever nativity play have got in the way unfortunately.

Share the link to his charity donation page and I'll gladly donate the petrol money and a bit more.

My thoughts will be with you all tomorow. Make sure you give him the send off he deserves!! He was always one of the last to leave the bar at the rallies, so I assume you'll all be having plenty of booze to keep his memory alive.
