I had to get an XL jacket (alpine star, or something) so it fits my shoulders and back, but taking it home it looks a bit daft.. My shoulders look beyond square and f**king huge.

Any ideas?

Fits fine.

Hahaha no, I'm 5'7" and 91kg (I compete in weightlifting in under 85kg but don't stay there all year).

I'll get pics tonight, looks bloody daft.

If it fits then don't worry about it

Best to have it fitting and looking stupid rather than not fitting right and looking worse if you have a smash!

Yeah pics to cheer us all up

Wait till you have 4 layers of clobber underneath cos it's freezing. Then you'll feel like a running back ;-)

I'd be more concerned about the pads at the front [emoji12]

Now just for the damn helmet, my over-thinking self thinks even this small moves a little bit too much now I've had some time to wear it for a bit longer at home :(

I've followed all the steps online about fitness and I can't pull it over from the back but it's a little close. It's snug on my cheeks and forehead but.. I dunno.. I'm guessing the shop also won't take it back now as they have no proof I haven't dropped it?

Shop may be able to change the pads if they are decent enough to help the fit :)

I didn't know they could do such a thing, thanks for the heads up. They Helped with fitting and also fitted my pinlock (since they could tell I was a newbie). I've got my CBT on Sat.. I'll see what the instructor says and also how it feels/how noisy it is.

Wait until you get some leathers. The armour feels even more massive in them than it does in textiles!

I quite fancy a one-piece/power ranger suit so I guess it's only a matter of time [emoji85]
