And what did you do to yourself, Baloo? Did I miss something in another post??

Playing football mate, stood on the side of the foot and ripped the ankle out from between the tibia and fibia. There's a chance I wont ride a geared bike again, but I'm going to avoid that with hard work and physio. If I'm struggling I might change the Tiger out for a DCT Crosstourer.

Wow that looks painful! Good luck with the physio Baloo.

Ouch! Sorry to see that mate, hope the recovery isn't too long.

Seeing stuff like this always makes me worry about playing myself, I couldn't stop though!

Good effort mate.

Hope the recovery goes well. :thumb:

I've played since having spinal surgery. Hard work and intense physio. You'll be right

Bad luck mate; that's a proper injury. Makes my teeth go on edge to see a crooked foot like that :(

All the best for the physio, when you get to start it. Speedy recovery :thumb:

Ouch, that's not good. Hope you make a good recovery and all the best with the physio.

Baloo

If you will take any advice RE physiotherapy then listen. (Both knees operated on. Back op. Wrist broke in 2 places and countless shoulder dislocations etc etc)

Make the excersizes part of your daily life.

E.g.. before putting kettle on I need to do 10 reps etc

Before long you won't realise your actually doing it and it becomes 2nd nature.

Also. Don't get too despondent. The body takes time to heal

If all else fails switch to a right foot shift and a thumb brake for the rear brake. It works for Hutchy!

Best of luck with healing.
