Muttly Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 (edited) I was offered some recommendations for leather free boots but the posts have vanquished. If not too much trouble would you mind repeating the feat? Edited January 18, 2019 by Muttly Quote
Gerontious Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 You might consider changing the title.Leather free BOOTS.Richa tracer evoDainese torque D1 outRST tractech evo 3Richa raintechAlpinestars SMX-S waterproofAlso... Sidi have made a lot of leather free boots in the past, so worth looking at their range and the "ingredients"Eg Sidi Black Rain Boots. No leatherIf you google. Use the term "LORICA MOTORCYCLE BOOTS" as that is the most commonly used material as a leather alternative in a boot and you'll get plenty more results. Quote
S-Westerly Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 Why would you want non-leather? Personally (and this is just me I'm sure) but if I wear any kind of non-leather footwear within a few days they smell like week old summer roadkill. Then my wife makes me keep them in the shed. Quote
Muttly Posted January 19, 2019 Author Posted January 19, 2019 I was wondering if there would be a smell issue. Is this the case with Lorica boots does anyone know? Quote
geofferz Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Most boots are lorica https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_cat/851/(2;product_rating;DESC;0-0;all;86;90) Quote

Tango Posted January 22, 2019 Posted January 22, 2019 I had a pair of Sidi Black Rain EVO boots that were Lorica......I guess they did smell slightly worse than my leather boots......but spraying them with boot deodorising spray after each wear kept the smell to acceptable levels...... Quote
