My heads shrunk

Now I've worn my new lid a few months it's more loose than I want. Has anyone tried putting extra foam etc in their lids & if you have did it work / pitfalls etc

Some brands do optional thicker cheek pads.

I’ve gone down this route in the past with my HJC. Definitely made a big difference.

Especially if your shell covers more than one size.

It's just the padding compressing in it so it feels looser!

when i started biking in the seventies i had an xs helmet and to this day i still have the same size

I've done this mate. I used foam sheets from Ryman's, and it made a helmet that was getting loose fit a load better.

if it's not too loose you could see if a balaclava would help with fit
