Guest Richzx6r Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 So I have finally managed to replace the left front indicator on my ninja......what a f*cking ball ache that was, so after swapping the wire over from the original to the replacement as the replacement didnt have the connector block on it so once I'd done that I started putting the indicator in to the fairing hole......yea it didnt fit too easily and how I didn't crack the fairing is beyond me and pure blind luck with the amount the fairing was bending.......but after much shouting, swearing and liberal use of lubrication and a screwdriver to Jimmy the bast*rd thing in it's hole.......im left with a couple of small scratches in the well where it sits but nothing too noticeable unless you are really looking for them but bugger me theres got to be an easier way to do it than what I have just experienced........I hope I never have to do another one of them for a bloody long time Quote

Mickly Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Too bloody true ...Not bike related but I fixed a leaking tap today, needed to turn off the hot water isolation valve at the boiler, when I turned the valve back on it started leaking from the centre of the valve ( not its connections ) many naughty words were said & much gnashing of teeth and stomping of feet !! It took me nearly two n half hours to get the indicator stalk in to the fairing then 20 minutes to get everything back together........why..just why does it have to be so difficult to change them Quote
