I'm rebuilding a spare pair of calipers for my M3.

Used my hobby compressor and cheapo Aldi spray gun for the first time and pretty pleased with the results.

Just some Halfords enamel paint I found in the garage mixed with a bit of white spirit to make it sprayable.

I'm continuing with the garage tidy.

Mounted saw on wall, and made a pop out support for minor jobs so it can be used in situ, support is going to double as beer/tea holder, mostly beer.

M3 calipers rebuilt; new pistons, seals and bleed nipples. New flexi hoses on order.

I have just replaced the front discs and pads so thought I'd make a garage clock from one of the discs.

Clock mechanism and an M3 sticker on order.

Want to get a BMW round logo sticker of 160mm in diameter to stick in the centre and I am going to put the M3 sticker at the 3 o'clock position.

Not sure how sad this is lol.

Made some backing boards for my sockets hopefully easier to read when working and can take whole clip to the bench.

Should cut down on losses ( bet it doesn't lol).

Cheers Ian

Bit sad yeah but hey it's what we need to do to survive, failing that get yourself up this neck of the woods and give me a hand on the calipers :thumb:

So far I have been on it about an hour and all iv managed is getting the end can off as one of the bolts wouldn't move so I had to use some spanner extension bar work to get a 6mm stainless Allen head bolt to move  but luckily I had a 5/16  tap for the hole which has also cleaned up the thread on the bolt when I have just put it in a few times

All we need is someone on here with a CNC plasma cutter to knock out a load in metal.
