Fish Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 As usual the rules do not apply to 'officials'.... Cant keep that 2m distance. Fish Quote
Fozzie Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 In his defence, the rule is 1m+ Going against him, he's ignoring that + bit, and I don't see mask straps... Quote

S-Westerly Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 Another pointless jobsworth getting his kicks telling people how to live. Never met him and I hate him already. We are f**ked as a country. Quote

125cc Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 Is "Covid-19 Compliance Officer" the grown up 2020 version of Milk Monitor? I always thought the legality of those "Polite" jackets were questionable considering they're deliberately made to resemble Police jackets at a glance. Not sure what additional visibility they offer over a standard Hi Viz. Quote

Mississippi Bullfrog Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 There was a nob with a polite vest on near the Horseshoe Pass today. At a set of traffic lights he was behind two cars. The lights changed and he decided to overtake them both, not realising the front car was indicating right and turned right into his path.So they're not worn by people with a passion for road safety. S-Westerly Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 (edited) Recently in Holland I was thinking there's a lot of nobs wearing polite vests until I looked a bit closer and realised they said politie which apparently is Dutch for police. Fortunately I hadn't sneered at anyone. Edited July 31, 2020 by S-Westerly Quote
Mawsley Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 Recently in Holland I was thinking there's a lot of nobs wearing polite vests until I looked a bit closer and realised they said polite which apparently is Dutch for police. Fortunately I hadn't sneered at anyone. And they were far from polite when they pulled me and the wife over near Schiphol for suspected drug smuggling. That, or they just love rummaging through women’s dirty underwear. Which they seemed to. The more I found it funny the less polite they got. Quote
