Changing your own tyres

Just curious more than anything. Anyone on here do their own tyres changes?

For £10 I can get the tyre changed and balanced.

Just take the wheel off and go to the garage 4 miles away. Don't think is worth the trouble for little saving

I have but to be honest for the number of times I need to remove and replace a tyre I usually just go to our local friendly tyre place. Last time I was buyng new tyres for the car as well so he did it for free.

Do it on cars and track bike as not fussed about wheel condition but not on wife's zx6 or my gtr as don't want to mark the finish ...

Yes mate, if they do bikes, then they should do a spoked wheel without damaging it.
