Bender Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago When did getting a new mobile phone become so expensive and time consuming, the major carriers are royally taking the proverbial. O2 wanted 50 a month and they are crap, I've eventually got it down to 30 and cheaper than just buying the phone outright which is mad Quote

I want a new one though, I have a phone I could put a cheap SIM in, the wife has one, but I like taking pics and the camera specs have improved enough to make it a worthwhile endeavour, and it makes no sense paying more for the phone buying it outright than taking a contract, saving 200 and getting 100gb and unlimited calls and texts. Which leads me back to the major networks who are prepared to take the eyes out whilst using the cheaper proxies to mop up the budget end, never used to be like that. 1 Quote
Simon Davey Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago @Bender If you're using Android, why not consider a Pixel phone? I got a Pixel 8 on the Google store when the Pixel 9 was released. Had £300 off, then I also got £190 for my old phone. Also got it with 0% through Klarna over 2 years! Cost me less than £600. 1 Quote

They said out of stock, delivery expected on the 24th, no rush, gets a call from wife today asking for delivery pin as guy at door has phone, only ordered last night, so much for being out of stock A few places already have them reduced in price hence disparity with the main networks who are obvs trying to just make more out of them 1 Quote
