I'm on a mission to keep nodding at scooter delivery riders until I get one back. So far, they've all just looked at me as if I'm mad

 

Down my way, they're too busy weaving in and out of traffic, or riding on the wrong side of the road to notice my nods.

I get nothing back.

I got some nods in January, when I was on L plates on the cbf125. It felt like I was welcomed to the club.

Now on the SV650, especially when there's no traffic and it's just you two passing each other, it'd be rude not to.

I fell asleep on my MZ 300 travelling back from RAF Marham to RAF Wattisham after a long shift that finished at 2am.. Went up the embankment at the side of the dual carriageway just west of Ipswich came to a stop and fell off. I was unhurt and the bike was ok so i took off my helmet and went to sleep ... as you do ..

Terrified female police officer woke me up about 4 hours later ... she thought i was dead ...
