Done a few sportives, fun but i stick to AUDAX events these day, cheaper ... ... did LEJOG / JOGLE 2018 and 2019 and hopefully JOGLE again this summer with my bunch of 10, 60 and 70 year old friends ... Don’t think men ever grow up .... we’re all on the spectrum at some point and very rarely mature beyond 18 at any point in our lives ... we get older but are always 18 in our heads ..... Looking at the photos has rekindled the desire, will be dusting off my trusty steed later and digging out some ridiculous looking kit for a bike ride this week. It will no doubt be very painful Doing a scenic coastal LEJOG on mobike as soon as lockdown lifts with someone who used to knock about on here. Can’t wait. Never got into Audax and only did a few sportives cos prefer cycling on my tod. @Bender you can jest, I have been stalked on the bicycle more times than I can remember. It completely creeps you out to start with but then you kinda feel sorry for them, they have no idea what they’re doing. Like a lot of people they see something and just follow it. I developed an excellent swift method of disposal by just repeatedly shouting “SORRY I CANT HEAR YOU IM DEAF” suddenly your not what they were looking for 1 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
