You don't need a lot and it will help to break them in but they will only soften up a bit they won't stretch a great deal I bought some at the NEC many, many years ago. I thought it was bloody expensive at the time, but it’s proven to be good value. I’m just coming to the last few dregs so it’s time to buy another. 1 Quote
James in Brum Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 What makes it Virgin? Or extra virgin? Quote

"Different names for olive oil indicate the degree of processing the oil has undergone as well as the quality of the oil. Extra virgin olive oil is the highest grade available, followed by virgin olive oil. The word "virgin" indicates that the olives have been pressed to extract the oil; no heat or chemicals have been used during the extraction process, and the oil is pure and unrefined. Virgin olive oils contain the highest levels of polyphenols, antioxidants that have been linked with better health." Note that Southern European countries, Italy, Greece, Spain and Portugal produce the highest grade of oil. There are 2 main processes to cold extract the oil, centrifuge (lower grade)and pressed (the highest grade). 2 Quote
Keeper96 Posted January 31, 2021 Author Posted January 31, 2021 I tried the leathers sitting on the bike today and it’s a no go, they where the biggest sizes produced by rst so I think it’s going to have to be custom made in a couple of years time Quote

It wouldn’t help the main issue is I’ve got a long back and short legs, I’m 6’ 3” with a 31” inside leg plus I have very well built calf’s and thighs so trousers are always tight around my legs, downside of rugby and hill walking! So you castrate yourself then when you sit down As for the calves thats an easy fix you can just get some larger stretch panels fitted Quote

Not as tall but similar issues with legs. Thus I have never owned leathers other than a jacket. Also never had a sports bike so never felt the need. Now to the age where I'd feel a complete twat if I did wear them assuming I could get any to fit. Quote
