I decided to buy a couple of small Meccano items for my son’s kids and could only find them in Argos. Ordered at 4pm, delivered to a small town about 15 miles from Norwich at 6.45. Impressed? I am. A lot of places offer free delivery if spending over a certain amount and we have amazon prime which gives us next day delivery on most items Unfortunately all this is going to have a massive knock on affect to the high street and smaller shops! A lot of the shops round here are doing on line stuff with either free local delivery or click and collect. The high street as we knew it might have gone forever but many are still soldiering on.
