By how much is it over reading?

He tells me that when I'm setting the pace at an indicated 70 on my speedo he's showing around 83.

We have an agreement on our group rides that we stick to the speed limits which is why he raised it.

A very positive attitude.

I get the feeling he must know what he is about or he is supremely confident lol.

My ST was overreading by around 10%. When I change the dash lights to white I had to remove the needle.

When I put it back I just place it a bit back (2 or 3 mm at the end of the needle) and it is now around 2% off.

I like "It is best to contact me by email, as I am continually busy, machinery often prevents me hearing the phone, and every phone call holds up someone's work."

The number of times you know it's easier to initially drop someone an email with the detail then cover it off later if needed, but they insist you phone and go through it all....

buy and fit a sat nav... recalibrating a speedo is a fools errand .

Not if it's done right, mare did my car after engine gearbox and wheel change, it's bang on 70 at 70 and out slightly high below that, closer than original.
