Mississippi Bullfrog Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 A mate has a MotoGuzzi California. The Speedo is over-reading, it's a mechanical drive. Anyone know a reliable place to get it recalibrated please? Quote

He tells me that when I'm setting the pace at an indicated 70 on my speedo he's showing around 83. We have an agreement on our group rides that we stick to the speed limits which is why he raised it. husoi Posted April 9, 2021 Posted April 9, 2021 My ST was overreading by around 10%. When I change the dash lights to white I had to remove the needle. When I put it back I just place it a bit back (2 or 3 mm at the end of the needle) and it is now around 2% off. Quote
Copycat73 Posted April 9, 2021 Posted April 9, 2021 buy and fit a sat nav... recalibrating a speedo is a fools errand . Quote

I like "It is best to contact me by email, as I am continually busy, machinery often prevents me hearing the phone, and every phone call holds up someone's work." The number of times you know it's easier to initially drop someone an email with the detail then cover it off later if needed, but they insist you phone and go through it all.... Quote

Not if it's done right, mare did my car after engine gearbox and wheel change, it's bang on 70 at 70 and out slightly high below that, closer than original. Quote
