I know absolutely nothing about motorbikes apart from the joy it brought to my Dad, after having kids my dad gave up his passion for riding motorbikes. Now that I’m 21 (youngest child) I would love to be able to organise to put my Dads bike back together as it break my heart everytime I go the garage and see it in piece and boxed up. I would love to able to surprise him by putting it back together for him. Can anyone point me in the right direction on what the cost of something like this would be and who would do it. Thank you.

Hello and welcome . The first thing that comes to my mind is why was it taken apart in the first place ? There's usually a very good and very expensive reason why a bike ends up in pieces . Can you post a load of pictures and try to find out from your dad in his words what's wrong with it ? Then we might be in a better position to advise what path to take .

I see from the title it is a ZRX.

As an owner of one of these fine bikes I would be interested to hear what caused the strip down and where are you?

These things are built like hammers and seldom go wrong so was it something he was just going to do up?

Also what is the mileage and is it an R or an S.

Cheers

Ian

Thanks everyone for the help finally managed to get some information from him about the bike, it’s 1989 Kawasaki zrx1100. The only reason he took the bike apart was for simple reason of doing it back up, he also mentioned that there was nothing wrong with it.
