Nope - gadget it just right.

I have an Oxford Screamer disc lock and found the batteries never lasted very long, and often just use it as a disc lock. Cant imaging the batteries lasting long with this gadget either.

Not sure why you would lower the siren volume, I would want to wake every fecker up 😂

My screamer has always been more of a  mild intermittent squeeker,  I just use it as a lock.

Ordered one 😊 had the xena xx6 disc lock alarm for 6 years for the scoot and it served well until the last trip where it stopped arming, the CR2 battery lasted about a year usually.

The new one can be fitted without activating the alarm so it can be used while the scooter is on the back of the van 👍

I've fallen out with Oxford products, bought the stainless steel 14mm one for the Duke a couple of years ago and the module is buggered already.

Correct me if I'm wrong (or if you dare :P ) but...

Doesn't bluetooth works to 10m range if nothing in between?

You walk 10m out and there is no connection.

Still prefer my normal steel disk lock with the ugly bright yellow coil so I don't forget to remove it :thumb:

No you're correct. The Bluetooth is only for setting it up. Apart from that it's a normal alarm/lock. I wonder if it tells you it's been alarming when you get back🤔

I think I found a cheap seller on ebay as it's only £2 more than the non Bluetooth version 😍

Bluetooth has moved on from early days, bt5 is 40m indoors with obstacles etc and over 200m  line of sight.

Uwb that apple use goes upto 200m  but is accurate within a few cm, great if you lost your bike and your short sighted 😂

Update: first one I got had a faulty alarm module so the seller just sent me another one 👍

Pleased with it now, I've set the sensor to medium sensitivity and there's been no false alarms.

Like the old one I had, you can easily clip it on without faffing about with the key, and unlocking is quick and easy 👍
