A few years ago there was OUTRAGE I had all of the North as one so had to split that. I don't really want to start creating more work for myself so unless you all throw your toys out prams about it it's probably not going to change

Hi @Simon Davey, it's 130,000 miles, owned for last 92,000 miles, bloody best vfr800 I've owned, have another one brought with 18,000, now has 105,000

That's impressive  even for a honda, has it needed any major work other than normal maintenance. I always get nervous ££££ after 40k

Hi @teo63, no major work at all, apart from 2 Reg/rec, change oil/oil filter every 8000, shims at 16000, Had front wheel bearings go at 108,500, and plastic speedo drive at 89,000, runs uprated Hagon rear shock/fork springs,

never changed fork seals!!! Still on original Disc's, side engine casings never been off, apart from sprocket casing.

And righthand radiator was changed after we fell off and fractured it.

Still having trouble finding the Pub/Cafe Numbers 1 and 4 (although I see that some folk have used other type of premises).

 

4 bells is doable (if the weather holds) but what has happened to all the No 1 Bars that used to be around?

No 1 has to be the easiest to find. Always a no1 kebab, No1 pizza etc etc. Good luck.

Yes - The ones withing a hour or so's ride.

 

As as for pedant - Possibly but if there were no 'rules', then you could post any old picture and claim the points (ie. a Telephone Box instead of an AA Box).

 

I have just got back from one such venue -  The Number 1 Indian Takeaway - No indoor table seating (or outdoor benches) so, not a cafe. However, I did get another 'Hog' tag en-route so a partial result.

I just took the meaning to be eateries. Been over mine and they are all good so so am I.

Thanks @Hoggs, and everyone taking part for keeping me amused for another year.

I'm not sure I'm going to have much free time before xmas, so it looks like I may be done for another year (though I'd really like to finish the NE if I get chance, on a salt free day). Health issues caused a bit of a late/slow start for me and I didn't manage to get everywhere I planned this year, but I still managed to clock up a few enjoyable miles.
