I nominate the 3 guys from Belgium on a tour of Scotland, riding BMW R1250GSs, a tad bigger than my 125. I said they'd picked a good week for it, only to be corrected - this was their second last day, most of their tour was in the rain ☹️. But they made up for it by saying they'd ridden in the Dolomites and the Pyrenees and other spectacular place but none was as beautiful as Scotland  😀.

Today I ‘borrowed’ some free weights from eldest son, Missus asked WTF? I said I felt I needed to rebuild my upper body strength to assist with trail riding when I get my new bike. Her response was “you’re nearly 63 that’s not gonna happen” do I need any more encouragement? 🤣

So in December 2022 I bought a Ring Automotive 12/24v battery charger, a very heavy and robust bit of kit. I bought it from Halfords for £119 through our farm business.

I only used it a few times, so when it failed a few months ago at just 18 months old, I was a bit miffed. I realised a short while ago that Halfords offer 2 year warranties, but when I enquired, it's only on their own Halfords labelled products.

I never complain about anything, and I didn't this time, instead I filled in a contact form on the Ring Automotive website, telling them that it was a great product but that I was disappointed it had failed after so little use.

I received a next day reply form a chap who said that if I could send him parts from the charger that they needed for refurb's, he would send me a replacement!!

What a result.

Being so busy, and a little forgetful, It took me three weeks to get the darned parts delivered back to him, and once again, I received an immediate reply, but sadly, they no longer sock that model.

I suggested that I would be grateful for a discount code for the next model up, but he did way better than that, he replaced my £119 heavyweight charger with a smart charger that cost me nothing, and actually retails from them at £365, but can be had for about £250. Jeeeeeez, I'm absolutely gobsmacked. In an age when customer service from so many businesses can be so poor, this guy saved the world.

A true legend.

This is what he sent me.

I don't know anyone on the Aussie one though and this shite is bad enough 😂

What I find surprisingly idiotic is they mixing mentally challenged people in a supposed marriage and expect they can make it work.

🤔🤔

They don't want it to work, they want freaks and drama and viewing figures.

I don't have broadcast TV, and don't miss it. Do they still use these words in the TV ceremony?

... must not be undertaken carelessly, lightly, or selfishly, but reverently, responsibly, and after serious thought...

Makes me glad I don't have a TV if that's the kind of shite dished up for so called entertainment.

Oh no.

There is a lot more 😬😬😬

1940s and 50s bw movies.

Judge Judy is probably dead by now but they keep repeating episodes all day every day.

Then you have the crap movies with £3 FX and 50p actors.

The list is a long as premium toilet paper rolls and worth much less 🙄

I'll take your word for it.  No need to confront the ghastliness in person.

And it's not a legally binding ceremony and bits are shot multiple times with everyone told pretend you didn't see them on the first three takes.

@Bender says he is being “forced” to watch it, if you believe that. 😉

Seems a bit too familiar with the general bizareness (is that even a word?) of it to be "forced".

It's because I know one of them on it, or several if you include family, ohh some of the stories I could tell 🤔
