Fiddlesticks Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Mrs Fiddlesticks' new leather jacket arrived. Maybe I'm being picky, but I'd kind of like it if there weren't pulled threads and dodgy marks where the stitching should be. Unreasonable expectations? 2 Quote
husoi Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Merlin? There's some witchcraft in there I tell you 1 Quote
Throttled Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago No, I do not think that is unreasonable to complain about. 1 Quote
billysugger Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Is it brand new, or a returned/repaired item (refurbished in other words) from amazon or fleabay? 1 Quote

Simon Davey Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago That'll soon be a broken seam. Needs returning. 1 Quote
Fiddlesticks Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago Ye, brand new. Bit of a shame but I think it needs returning. 1 Quote
V650 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago That is unfortunate & I think it will only get worse 1 Quote
S-Westerly Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago A brand new jacket should not look like that. That's shoddy workmanship and piss poor quality control letting it out the factory gate. No idea as to cost but I doubt it was that cheap. 1 Quote
Capt Sisko Posted 51 minutes ago Posted 51 minutes ago Return it in two grounds. 1/ Faulty workmanship & 2/ Because of that the jacket isn't up to CE standard. Put simply, in an accident that seam would tear and bang goes your protection. Post accident that involves an expensive experts report. Prior to an accident, it's just a case of, look this isn't good enough. Return it. Quote
Mold Posted 22 minutes ago Posted 22 minutes ago That doesn't look good or safe, I could have stitched that better after a few beers! Personally I'd send it back, if you don't, it will be in your head every time you wear it. Quote
