Fiddlesticks Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Mrs Fiddlesticks' new leather jacket arrived. Maybe I'm being picky, but I'd kind of like it if there weren't pulled threads and dodgy marks where the stitching should be. Unreasonable expectations? 2 Quote
Throttled Posted April 26 Posted April 26 No, I do not think that is unreasonable to complain about. 2 Quote
billysugger Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Is it brand new, or a returned/repaired item (refurbished in other words) from amazon or fleabay? 1 Quote

Fiddlesticks Posted April 26 Author Posted April 26 Ye, brand new. Bit of a shame but I think it needs returning. 4 Quote
S-Westerly Posted April 26 Posted April 26 A brand new jacket should not look like that. That's shoddy workmanship and piss poor quality control letting it out the factory gate. No idea as to cost but I doubt it was that cheap. 1 Quote
Capt Sisko Posted Saturday at 20:38 Posted Saturday at 20:38 (edited) Put simply, in an accident that seam would tear and bang goes your protection. Post accident and if you wanted to make a claim for compensation, that involves an expensive experts report. Prior to an accident, it's just a case of, look this isn't good enough. Return it. Mold Posted Saturday at 21:07 Posted Saturday at 21:07 That doesn't look good or safe, I could have stitched that better after a few beers! Personally I'd send it back, if you don't, it will be in your head every time you wear it. 2 Quote
RideWithStyles Posted Monday at 11:09 Posted Monday at 11:09 Its a primary safety feature when actually done properly and will only get worse…return it. 1 Quote
bud Posted Monday at 12:18 Posted Monday at 12:18 I think we have a general consensus. Return it. 1 Quote
