I meant to join you guys today, but as I didn't get back home from Southend (picked my new bike finally up today woooooo!) until gone 6pm and and I was absolutely knackered and swimming in sweat so though better do it next time. I'll join some shenanigans soon though, if a new kid is welcome? :)

So yeah, I got lost on the way home! I turned off some roundabout before the A4..something..8 ! Tbf it was because my electrics cut out (twice) on the way back and was a bit distracted by it and missed the sign! Ended up in....Childerly? Or somewhere? Chr*st knows! Will check connections and such in my lunchbreak tomoz - my Haynes is at work for my lunchtime reads, hopefully will be able to sort it out. Frst issue with this bike - sure I'll sort it ok tho.

Nice seeing you all tonight - esp GOG. And really liked the social club! Had a much nicer feel to it - more character and really friendly - and a coke for only 75p!! Was awesome to have so many of us on th ride to Papworth too - was lotsa fun.

You found some on site then Martin. Got home, and to be honest, my arm and wrist ached like hell so did not even go down the pub. Getting slight sick of feeling old with aching joints.

Was there many at Papworth ?????

So Mick did not do a flit to Morrisons then  Sounds like a busy night there. Will try and make it over next week if not else where (I`m on leave and not sure what I`m doing)

Yep Neil tried the I was in the forces and got 10% off

Hey all, good to finally see Papworth! Definitely a good turn out thereand it does have it's own charm, although I was missing the view of the lake at Hartford...

Great to see you all though :D

Nice to have met you again - Agree with Lou that the Social Club is 'cosy' with great prices!

Have to make it a regular (and try out their 'Bacon Butties').

Sounds like you have a loose connection Lou - Try 'wriggling' wires and see what causes the problem. Should be an easy fix (the hard bit will be finding it).

No Bumbag?! But WHERE will you stash your stamp collection?!

That's what Bob said, GOG - I had a go at lunchtime but our work toolkit was missing the rotate-y nut screw thing remooover (Ollie tells me a 'socket set') and couldn't loosen the nut with the other turn-y device (spanner!) to check the positive connection. Will take a set with me tomoz and have another well-spent lunchbreak  .

Hiya All..

Have been to Hartford a couple of times, but been away in Europe for 4 weeks so just catching up on the news that it's burnt down....

Can I suggest/remind folks that there is the Talbot Inn in Stilton which does good food/beer and is biker friendly - the Triumph Club meets there on Wednesdays (other bikes welcome too!)

Thanks, but it's a bit of a mission for me tbh from Cambridge/on a 125/on a work night. And Moo likes the socialising aspect - wouldn't get much time for a catch-up by the time we got there and had to head off. May do at some point though, thanks

Suppose I'll have to keep my promise and turn up - anything happening tomorrow? Even my other half might join us (in a car, as he doesn't have either a licence/bike or even kit to ride pillion - feel free to torment him just as much as you want  )

I should be up for the meet at the Marina tomorrow...... 8-) Unfortunately Bonniebird is working late.....so she won't be along.....and I'm not sure about NMan1 as he's off this week.....

I think M00 and Ollie will be there....so there should be a few of us anyway..... 8-)
