My first proper post in this thread.

For the last couple of days the rear wheel on my bike's been a bit twitchy and today after leaving work I decided to pull over for a fag and that's when I noticed the monumental oil leak with nothing in the sight glass and oil all over my rear tyre.

I'm waiting for recovery now.

f**k it.

Double f**kery.

The OH and I saw a dilapidated property at the weekend that would be ideal for us to renovate for us to live in - good size, nice village, room for a monster garage, all that stuff.

Searched the Land Registry - no trace, no info from the council, phonebook or anything. Managed to track the owner down who lives away. He said it'd been in the family for decades and definitely wouldn't want to sell it unless we made him a huge cash offer.

ARGH!

Tore calf muscle at work this afternoon. Was planning on going out on bike this evening and tomorrow if the weather holds but can barely walk. Leg is swollen and has a bag of ice attached.

Beautiful weather today was going to ride down to my mums but my front tyre is almost bald so gotta get the train... f**k it!!

I get cluster headaches

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cluster_headache

"The term "headache" does not adequately convey the severity of the condition; the disease may be the most painful condition known to medical science"

http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/cluster-he ... ction.aspx

"Sufferers often call them 'suicidal headaches' because they're so severe."

http://www.migrainetrust.org/factsheet- ... ache-10908

"Cluster headache is a rare type of headache that affects about 1 to 2 people in every 1,000. It is one of the most painful conditions an individual can experience,"

So take all the f**k its in this thread, add them up and that is how I have been for 5 f**king days of hell. It is five years to the week since the last one, so the next is expected 5 years from now, just when I have retired and was hoping to go and ride America. f**k it with bells on.

Plus the weather has been glorious and riding the bike is completely out of the question. :crybaby:

Oh fuckwankarsetits!

Went to have a dyno run to find out what the 7 is chuffing out and the bloke told me my chain and sprocket were too shagged to run it up.

I knew they were a bit iffy but thought they'd see out another track day. :-(

Half a days leave wasted and another £150 worth of parts ordered.

My chain amnd sprockets being done this or next week so know what you mean.

Tried out the waterproof covers for the luggage today as for caught in a shower. They weren't designed for the motorway apparently. 30 miles later I have 2 scraps of plastic shreds hanging off the bike! Not a proper f**k it as I wasn't that fussed to be fair. But still a shitty time to find out!

Posted

Went to fit my new chain and sprockets earlier. I was expecting a clip link but there was a rivet link instead.

No bother, I'll just grab my rivet tool... Ah, no, wait. That's still with a mate in Margate.

Bottoms.

f**king Planning Officers, just had the planning officer on the phone. She cannot determine the application because I wrongly labelled one of the elevations East instead of West (an over site on my part for trying to hurry the process along). Normally, anyone else just labels the elevations Side or Rear etc. but I though I`d help the twats out and label it both Side and East because basically they are thick any way.

Will take another two weeks and she will have to consult the neighbours again. I`d be bloody embarrassed to go back to them with this trivial over site.

f**king retards, just cross the bloody label out on your copy and stop wasting people`s time and loosing my client thousands of pounds in waiting.

Personally I`d f**king sue them, but my boss likes to keep in with them.

Useless, twats, what I`d do if I had money would screw them up totally.

Posted

Al, you have no idea how planning used to, and should still run. These twats are just throwing up obstacles to prevent them having to make decisions when they are over loaded with work. Any decent officer would have put a red line through the wrong note and re-written it correctly with a black pen. SIMPLE,

Like I say, and will forever repeat, f**king idiots.

Posted

I know how that one feels, you mislabel one thing on a drawing and that's it... They send it back...

Had this with our client who is out in Jakarta... We supplied them with new drawings, I think one got replicated and added in. They wanted to know if it was a different drawing or a mistake. Told them it was a mistake.

Then, rather than throw it in the bin and me wipe it off the system, they sent it back, with a query that I then had to answer before deleting it...

The engineering sector takes 40% longer to manufacture its projects on average now. I can see why!

Posted

f**k IT, I am now having to break off an important job to show the turning circle of a wheely bin, a compost heap, a garden shed and a washing line on a plan to satisfy some ridiculous code for building to. I`ll check to see if the planning officer gets of their fat arses and goes and checks all this.

went out to the garage to remove my rear foot pegs and replace with my new R&G blanking plates.... went to take some before/after photos and dropped my phone and shattered the screen...

Just had to buy a replacement screen - thats another 80quid gone!

Because I was a whole 2 days late paying my ex the agreed maintenence for the kids, she decided to get the Child Maintenence services involved, instead of the up til now working agreement between us. Wasn't my fault I got paid late ffs.

Jokes on her though, she'll get less money through them then I was paying as I paid over the odds, not that any of it seemed to go on the kids though, every time I had them they had old clothes, youngest hadn't been bathed in days. Wheras she got a new car, and 2 new motorbikes.

Pissed me off though, as got the call just before leaving for work this evening, so rode to work angry, still, at least I know my now repaired back break works (emergency stop)

As a bit of childish revenge, I reported her for benefit fraud, after all she's claiming housing and council tax benefit and not staying at her house, has been living at her mums for the past 3 months.

During the first week of our holiday I got a message to say that my eldest son had been admitted to hospital. His Crohn's had flared up badly and he was unable to eat for a few days, so he was admitted and put on a drip. He's been put back on steroids again and had his infusion, which seems to be sorting him out now. So the first week of our hols was spent sending messages back and forth, keeping tabs on his progress. There was little point in coming back early as there was nothing we could do......and he is 23....so, not a child anymore.

Got back off hols on Saturday afternoon and got a phone call from one of my brother-in-laws to let me know that my father had just passed away suddenly.

I can't wait for the 3rd thing!!....

Sorry to hear about your dad mate  Try to wait as long as you can for the third thing....don't tempt fate eh...

Well that blows my "F**k it" that I was about to post out of the water!!

Sorry for your loss mate... Sounds like some alone time on the bike might be in order to gather your thoughts and make sense of it all....

Im not a religious man, but ive come to the conclusion that its true what they say - the universe never sends you anything it knows you cant deal with.

My thoughts are with you and your family...

One of my stainless steel downpipes has sheared off where it meets the collector box. No corrosion, it's not even one of the bottom two that would get the most shite thrown up at it, although they haven't salted the roads in a few months. Cheap parts purchased by the previous owner I'm assuming. It's not able to be welded either. That's another £200 down the shitter

Sorry to hear about your family Bob.

My f**k it pales by comparison - been told I've got dodgy old man hands and not to ride my bike for a while.
